When guys say they're "D/D Free" or "STD Free" are they including HIV or can a poz guy say he's "STD free" as well? Sometimes guys say they're both neg and dd free, but what happens in the case where they don't say anything about HIV? I mean HIV is obviously an STD, but isn't "STD free" more about saying you've been tested for all the little things and don't have stuff like the clap or syphilis?

I see all these ads for guys saying they're "poz and healthy" (example). I can see where that had real meaning 20 years ago, but what exactly does it mean in 2010 when the vast majority of poz guys are on meds and doing fine?

WTF is up in Ontario? Look at this guy's face and tell me how in the hell he could be the one who's forced to plead guilty for assault? The guy (Jake Raynard) needed reconstructive surgery to fix his face he was beaten so badly... Yet he had to plead guilty to assault for kicking his attacker. Why in the hell didn't he go to jury on this one? I can't imagine anyone finding him guilty... I mean even if he over reacted, it was heat of the moment and none of it would have happened if he hadn't been attacked. Get this, the judge gave them the maximum sentence... Make sure your conservative friends hear about this case... Talking to people and making them understand that people a lot like you are getting thrown in prison just for being themselves does make a difference... -
One of the big problems with US immigration policy is that children who are brought here illegally by their parents, and grow up in the US, are often deported back to their home country - a place they've barely lived in and often they can't even speak the language. They've never known a life outside the US, yet they're illegal and constantly face deportation. There's currently a case like that that has layered on top of it the fact that the illegal is a gay Iranian. If he gets deported there's a good chance he'll be put to death in Iran. His name is Mohammad Abdollahi and he was part of a sit-in protest in McCain's office which brought him to the attention of the authorities and now he's under arrest and will be going in front of a judge on June 16th. I've attached one of the only studies I know that has quantified how risky barebacking really is. When I say bareback tops are nearly as safe as safe sex bottoms - this is the study that backs up those numbers, but it says a lot more than that... Read it over and see for yourself. I've thought about asking my doc for the test. Knowing would make a difference psychologically. I heard there's a place on the Internet where you can get a complete genetic analysis and it includes the CCR5 mutation test. When I heard about it they were charging $400, which I didn't feel like paying. If it were just the one test and more like $40 or $50 I'd do it in a heartbeat. BTW, I think it's CCR5, not 35...

You may know by now that the people that are immune or resistant to HIV tend to come from countries that were hit hard by Smallpox. Their ancestors were the ones whose bodies fought off the disease and then that genetic adaptation was passed on to their offspring. Once Smallpox was eradicated they phased out vaccinations between the 1950s and 1970s. Even though HIV had been around for something like 100 years it was in the late '70s that HIV started spreading and then in '80/'81 they started noticing a wave of people getting ill. That means Smallpox vaccine might be an effective HIV vaccine and even a treatment for people with HIV... I really could care less. To me the bottom's dick is irrelevant. Hell, I think it would be hot if the bottom were a eunuch. Let me be clear... Even if I do turn on Facebook integration, it will be optional. Trust me, I'm not going to enable Facebook for my profile... To me Facebook and sex/porn/adult stuff just don't mix. Last time I tried to register 'rawTOP' as a user on Facebook social friends started popping up in suggested friends and my boyfriend told me he saw rawTOP in his suggested friends. That completely freaked me out and I won't go near Facebook for any adult or porn stuff. Some things just don't mix... There are Facebook integration options I can use on this forum. I just assumed everyone was like me and didn't mix Facebook and sex, but I just noticed Treasure Island has a Facebook page, so I'm wondering whether you guys want Facebook features for this site.
