  1. Ah, now that I understand the nature of what you're looking for and how it's different than what's here, I'll look for a solution. Personally I always hated the "activity" page and preferred the "new posts" page. I should also mention - to those of you who are now saying you don't like the new version - you totally had a chance to give feedback before it launched. I'm not blaming anyone - just saying some stuff could have been avoided. So now I'll compensate after the fact…
  2. Needless to say, that's not a workable solution - people just won't figure out what you did and will think it won't work. But beyond that, the types of things you guys chat about needs encryption and encryption isn't an option on that particular chat platform until next year sometime. You must be using an old version. Or maybe things are different on PCs. It didn't work for me on the latest version on the Mac. Firefox is my primary browser. Though I keep 3 browsers open at all times for work purposes - and wish there were 4 or 5 I could have open. Or I wish I could have different logins to the same site in different tabs - but that's just not an option AFAIK.
  3. I'm aware of this. I have an iPhone and an iPad and have seen some problems, but I've been concentrating on the desktop version first. I'll get to the iOS stuff this week. I did get to one iPhone problem today - the logo wasn't displaying. Now it is I'll look into that.
  4. That one stumps me. The feature should be there, but it's only showing for my account. On Monday I'll put in a support ticket to see what the software vendor says.
  5. I'm now revisiting the software I used for chat 3+ years ago. Back then it was crashing the server app (Wowza) that managed all the connections. But it's 3 years later and there are new versions that are (hopefully) more stable. Since I own the licenses it's just a matter of paying to get it integrated with the new forum software. If it works, that won't just be single room text chat, but it will also offer multiple chat rooms and video chat. Fingers crossed.
  6. xtranicegayguy - As BBPaulZA says, it'll grow on you as you figure stuff out. If you're neutral about it, but see a few things you like - that's all I can ask for. The change was made because the platform I was on previously was a dead end. So even a lateral move is fine with me. It's when people hate it that I have to stop and ask why and see if I can resolve their issues. Can you go into depth about exactly how it's hard to navigate? What exactly is the problem? You can change that in your settings. Unfortunately that setting wasn't brought over in the conversion. I'll see if I can find the setting in the raw data and change it manually. Then the question is what the default should be for new users… Yes, the dots = your rank category on the site which is where the words "whore", "barebacker", etc. come from. That's different than your "reputation" which is how many people like what you've posted. Which is different yet again to topic/thread ratings. That's explained here. Quick version - the chat feature didn't encrypt communications and Chrome and Firefox refused to let it load from an insecure server. As a result I've disabled it and am looking into a better chat solution. There are two modes in the editor - one that drops you down to code and one that's WYSIWYG. It sounds like you were in the code mode. Switch to WYSIWYG mode and those things will work. Just click the top left icon in the editor to switch (looks a bit like a light switch. If that doesn't fix it, post the problem in the problems thread. This isn't really the place to deal with tech support stuff. It works for me. It inserts a block just after the listing with the first and last posts from the thread. What platform are you on (OS & browser)? THANK YOU SO MUCH for pointing that out. Now I just have to figure out how to get people to notice it…
  7. I've discovered a problem with the chat feature - it doesn't work with Firefox or Chrome. I'm going to disable it until I have a solution since taking Chrome and Firefox users out of the mix means it doesn't work for quite a few of you. Techies - the reason for the problem is this site is SSL-based and the chat application is trying to load things that aren't SSL encrypted. Firefox and Chrome refuse to do that, but Safari will do it.
  8. That's not a bug. I'm waiting to get feedback on the chat feature before buying more licenses.
  9. There's the new content page, but nothing where everything is all mixed together like the activity page that the old site has. There might be a third party add-on for that. When the major bugs gets fixed I'll look for one.
  10. "Force" and "Twink" are both sensitive terms in the porn industry. ("Teen" even moreso). But "Tiger"? I don't understand that one at all. Why not send a support request to them and ask?
  11. There is a "new content" section, but it segments things by content type. As mentioned above, I need to make it easier to get to for people on small screens.
  12. I'm locking this thread and unpinning it since so many people are posting in the wrong place. If you're having problems with recent upgrade please post in the thread that's dedicated to that topic.
  13. In general most people seem to like the new version of Breeding Zone, but I have gotten a few complaints and the complaints have been pretty bitter. Just wondering what people really think since a lot of people think things but don't say anything. Now, realize that I know there are some bugs and needed improvements. Please take that in mind when voting. If it's just a bug, it'll get fixed. I'm looking for general impressions about where the site is going, not momentary problems. If you're having issues with the new version - please check out this thread… https://breeding.zone/topic/29910-post-your-problems-with-the-new-site-here/ and if the item you're having problems with isn't mentioned, let me know you're issue… DO NOT POST SPECIFIC PROBLEMS HERE. THIS IS NOT A TECH SUPPORT THREAD. The other thread is for that.
  14. I honestly don't know what you're talking about. The red badges say "Pinned". Moderators sometimes see orange badges that say "Unapproved", but you're not a moderator. I don't understand how you could be seeing Unapproved badges. And even if you did, it shouldn't affect your ability to post in the thread unless the entire thread was unapproved (most often the badge indicates that 1 or more posts in the thread are unapproved - not the whole thread). As I explained before the migration, the old software had separate images for avatars and profile pics. The new software only has one for both. I migrated profile pics instead of avatars. That said, not all of them migrated properly.
  15. That's stomething I'm still debugging. I can see the option on one of my accounts, but not the other.
  16. Fixed. Thanks for the heads up. I created one problem trying to fix another. I'm having problems with groups. Long story, but groups are not a core feature of the new software - they're a third party add-on and rather problematic. I got them working in testing, but haven't gotten them working since the migration. I'll keep trying… I'm also seeing problems with the secondary group permissioning system - again, a third party add-on. I recommend you don't mess with your settings. But that's how people got permissioned for things like HIV fetish, Chem sex and groups. I'll keep working on that as well.
  17. Continuing to tweak the new #BreedingZone. Still lots to work on… https://breeding.zone

  18. That's been mentioned above. For now there's a link for "new content" in the big pic at the top. But if you're on a small screen you won't see that. I'll try to put it somewhere else as well so it's easy to get to. For now, click here, and bookmark it. That's what I'm working on at the moment. Figuring out hte inheritance of the CSS is making my head spin a little bit. But I'm aware of it and working on it.
  19. Thanks. It was an unbelievable pain in the ass to make the migration. I took the site from vBulletin 4 (v5 sucks) to IP.Board v3. The first couple times I did a test 5 months ago things got horribly messed up, so I just gave up on it. But then I revisited it a couple weeks ago and discovered I could make it work, but the time it would take was really long. It took me 3+ days just to convert the data when I was testing. Anyway, yesterday was hell, and then I woke up to your message below and realized I had fucked things up… What happened was I left some of the test data in the database by mistake. So most threads contained the posts for another thread. I was actually relieved when I figured it out. Deleting data is easier than recovering missing data. So an hour or so later I had it all fixed.
  20. On the big pic at the top there's a "New Content" link. But as I think about that - it won't be on small screens. Maybe that's why you don't see it. Let me work on that.
  21. Are you on Android or iPhone? It's actually the same version. It's a responsive desin - so some design elements disappear as the screen gets smaller.
  22. Just a quick update before the migration tomorrow… I think I've addressed the most of the significant issues with the new site. I've made the look "darker" - though it's not quite as dark as this site. The size of the header has been reduced. When I get a chance I'll reduce it even more, but I don't have time to go looking for even shorter pics. When the person doesn't have much vertical space in the browser the big images now don't show at all. Blogs and Galleries now work properly. Your date of birth isn't shown on your profile (though your age is shown - which is something I've wanted to enforce for a while now). The list of things that need fixing are relatively small: The logo isn't showing on the iPhone – there's some problem with the CSS. The Groups section needs some cosmetic work, but I think it's functional. I haven't gotten around to adding location, role (top/bottom), and HIV status under the avatar on forum posts. I need to put more advertising on the site, but at least a little advertising is there. I need to figure out how to put more in the sidebar of the blog and gallery section and create sidebars on the blog post pages. If you see any additional problems, please let me know. I've got stuff I have to do tonight, and the migration will start first thing in the morning, so I'll probably get to them right after the migration.
  23. This thread is locked. There will be a site migration in 2 days after which you can change your own display name. (Your login name will stay the same).
  24. Is it saved in your browser or in Keychain Access if on a Mac? Easiest way is to just change your password to something new that you'll remember.
  25. Butt tattoos are a turn off for me with the exception of the big ones that start on the side of the hip and go down the leg - they're not really butt tattoos - they just happen to occur a bit on the butt. Tramp stamps I'm fine with. A few of them are turn ons, but most I'm just ambivalent about. I agree about the permanence of tattoos and how they can go out of fashion or stop being relevant for the person. You have to think twice before getting tattooed.
