  1. Long-distance relationship=no relationship. Come on, is there REALLY no one locally to be in a relationship with? If you're worried about this, then either you or he needs to grow a pair, pick up, and move to the other's location. Or...admit that this is not really a relationship--just 2 people who won't commit. Yes, he's out of line and a control freak, because this is not a relationship that either one of you has any real commitment to.
  2. That's kind of like asking "Would you eat a ham sandwich for the man you loved?" Why would anyone say no to either?
  3. First off, "boi" is for lesbians, not for men (and I always pronounce it "bwah", as in French). I think "boi" is a silly affectation that completely ignores the origin of the word. Secondly, there is nothing less erotic (IMHO) that using the names of female body parts in the context of gay male sex. Gross. I find it just too fucking queeny. We already have our own perfectly good names for them.
  4. I hate sex in the cold! I can't focus on anything except the cold. But I'll swap piss under any circumstances.
  5. So, here's the deal...When you are born, you have already existed for 9 months, you have been capable of living on your own for at least the past 2 or 3 months (if premature delivery), and your place in the universe changes physically by less than 2 feet, from inside the womb to outside it. The only difference between one state and the other is a few layers of tissue. How in the world can that little change of location be of any significance in relation to objects millions, billions, trillions of miles away? Further, the "rules" of astrology were set down long before people knew how planets and stars worked, how far away they are, their difference in size, etc. Pure bunk. Did the superstitious people of old notice a difference in people born at different times of the year? Possibly. But they had no idea of the real causes, so they superimposed the motion of the planets on those observations. For instance, in the present day, people born in the springtime have a statistically higher probability of committing suicide. Alignment of the stars? Nope. Evidence points to the increased probability that the mother drank more during Xmas/New Years' holiday celebrations, which may coincide with a particular developmental stage in the fetus' brain (4th, 5th, or 6th month). It's entirely possible that long ago the wide differences in seasonal food availability (poor overall diet in winter leading to vitamin deficiency, etc.) may have had an even greater effect on the mental and physical development of babies born at different times of the year. And that may explain the completely spurious notion of astrology. But that's just my opinion.
  6. The distinction that GermanFucker makes is a bit imprecise. "Also oral tests are not quite as sensitive as a laboratory test." There are common tests that use oral samples for laboratory testing--OraSure, for instance (by the same manufacturer as OraQuick). The oral sample is sent to a lab for confirmatory testing; it's just as good as a blood sample. The problem with the rapid oral test isn't that it is less sensitive. The problem is that it can produce false positives. The tests look for antibodies that your system has produced. They do not look for the virus itself. So even though someone is "undetectable" (which isn't really undetectable), the antibodies will still trigger the positive result. The only false negatives I have ever heard of were in "the window", before the virus entered the bloodstream.
  7. I heard him speak at a conference a few weeks ago. He said that he suffered some brain damage as a result of some of the treatments he had. He read his speech a little haltingly and ad-libbed a bit, almost like someone on lithium (from my amateur diagnosis). But considering all he's been through (the HIV cure was a side benefit of a procedure for another problem), he seemed otherwise fine. I don't think I'd opt for it; it's rough.
  8. Dark places are the best. I can focus better with the visual inputs removed, and it lowers my inhibitions. It's easier to let myself go.
  9. Great idea! Maybe I'll start a urinal auxiliary service. And yes, BREEDmeRAW, CC in Philly means Center City--the mixed business and residential core of the city.
