But yet if guys go on PEP (in case they have been infected) they just take it for 30 days after the supposed infection. It seems to work.

Well, they must have their reasons for doing the trial. I'm not a medic. What I know is you have to be on PrEP for some specified time before you are protected. And just taking it before and after sex doesn't cover unplanned encounters (the 'before' thing...), only HIV+ (one) monogamous couples etc.
Anyway, look it up. Maybe you can still enter the trial if you have health insurance here (not sure about that either). It's been on for a while, should be done any time by now. Maybe PrEP becomes available then.

Well IMHO I perceive PrEP, while playing with poz guys, a little impolite only because you play on two different levels...
But know and I agree with you that you're doing right, I mean respect the others but first respect and take care of you.
Keep free your mind and freely enjoy your sexuality as it deserves.
