Even though I'm personally a chaser, I think this guy's behavior is pretty messed up. Poz guys have had to deal with stigma for ages due to status. Should you go bareback? In my opinion, YES! Should you go on PrEP? That's a personal decision. Some of us have chosen to stop worrying and embrace the thrill of chasing bugs. Even if you go on PrEP, the medication will be more effective against certain strains and less effective against others. PrEP also doesn't protect against STDs other than HIV. I paid attention to my body's reactions, and embraced the thoughts behind them. Slowly the poz scene became the most powerful sexual attraction I could find. I accepted that as part of my nature. I no longer feel conflicted, and I'm much happier (and hornier) for it.
