  1. Agree with this. Mine were quite nicely sensitive to begin with but they have become slightly larger but much less sensitive with use and abuse.
  2. Guys are out there fucking anyway, vaccinated or not. You only need read "my last load" or look at the number of hookup ads on BBRT. Those people who are out there taking such risks anyway aren't going to be swayed by whether someone is vaccinated or not. If I saw it on someone's profile I'd take it to imply that they were more comfortable about meeting others and not just jerking off at home. I don't see it as saying "I'm safe, let's fuck". I think most people in the UK are aware that someone who's vaccinated can be an asymptomatic carrier. But then so can someone who's not been vaccinated. So it doesn't matter. If you're looking to hook up then the risk is on you. My reason to post about getting my shot here was more about giving an honest account and document side any affects I experienced. Hopefully it might encourage others. Probably the bigger reason not to advertise your vaccinated status on social media is Vaccine-Shaming which seems rife on Insta and Twitter and borne out of jealousy. There are valid reasons why some of us are higher up the list than others. Not all health conditions are visible or obvious. If someone wants to swap, I'd more than gladly swap out my underlying health conditions in place of a vaccine shot.
  3. And we'll have people asking "Are you clean?" on Grindr
  4. I think it is a good idea. May be a clue they're really looking to meet rather than make their keyboard sticky.
  5. So, I had the Pfizer shot. Very impressed with the vaccination centre and how it was organised - so efficient. If only the rest of the NHS was like that! I didn't get any aches or anything in the arm it was injected in. Felt low on energy that evening and the next day - back to normal today, I think. Waiting for the call for the follow up shot. In practice it doesn't change much in day to day life, as the rules are still in place, but it does give a little more peace of mind, especially for when lockdown begins to lift.
  6. I had an email yesterday from Martin and Duncan, the owners of Central Station, of which here is an excerpt: My take on this is that they are keeping their options open while trying to make the best use of the resources they have, and there is hope that the clubs might eventually return given appropriate changes in legislation surrounding social distancing. If you mean SOP, then I doubt it - as anyone caught engaging in a bit of yellow play in Backstreet will attest - the venue owner was always very keen to enforce that rule! 7. Got the call today... I'm getting my vaccine shot tomorrow - couldn't believe they got around to me so quickly: I was convinced it'd be Late March at the earliest.
  8. I can't speak for SOP - but, as I have run some other events at the same venue, I received a letter from the owners last year saying that since the underground space couldn't be used for our events due to social distancing rules, they wanted to put it to other uses to generate some revenue to help make up the shortfall. The information that has been missing is whether the change of use is a temporary or permanent change. Central station have kept their cards close to their chest on this and I've not gotten an answer out of them on it - they likely want to keep their options open - but, honestly, I can't see "The Velvet Lounge" being successful and making as much revenue for them as the previous clubs did without an expensive refurbishment, which we know they can't afford, especially now. I'm betting that if it survives, then in the long term there is a good chance the clubs might return. What's clear is they will never return if it doesn't survive. I've told our customers that we're going to keep an eye on things and our first choice is to return when we can, but that is likely still a long way off yet. If that's not possible for whatever reason, we'll look at other venues - but I'm not doing that until we need to. I'm not aware of SOPs plans, but I did see they (along with other clubs) were in the list of 'top donors' on the GoFundMe.
  9. There may be some underused or empty premises post lockdown but the issue with opening new venues is property prices and the licensing policies of the different boroughs - you need a special kind of license to have a sex-on-premises establishment and they are very hard to come by. It used to be the case that only two boroughs in London would consider issuing them: Islington and Lambeth. The owners of CS told me that when it came to license renewal time there was always very strong opposition from the local residents, other local businesses and property developers keen to gentrify the area and push property prices up further, so it was always a difficult fight to keep the basement open. I am grateful that they did. I do hope the scene has a revival, but there needs to be a lot of change in the capital to make that happen and although Covid has slowed things down, there is a lot of inertia and money involved: it is moving too much in the other direction for that change to happen soon.
  10. There a good comparison of VPN services on Wikipedia: [think before following links] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_virtual_private_network_services I took the line that you get what you pay for, so I avoided anything 'free'. I ended up with NordVPN on my devices which seems to work quite well for me on iOS, MacOS, and Linux. I had some trouble with some features in the ARM 32bit Linux version of their native client software (Killswitch and Nordlynx wouldn't work) but using OpenVPN client seems okay. It seems pretty fast - I have gigabit fibre and routing through the VPN mostly affects the latency - the speed is pretty good unless you connect to an endpoint somewhere far off like Costa Rica. I like their kill switch feature which stops all communication if the VPN disconnects - that way you don't leak anything accidentally. I've noticed that some websites (Footlocker and my banks notably) won't talk to me at all when I'm on NordVPN - even on a UK server - and I have to switch it off for that. If it were not for that I'd enable it on my router for all traffic. The only other problem has been that some hotels or companies with public wifi also prevent connections to the VPN service. macOS Big Sur is reported to have system wide DNS over HTTPS built in - but I can't seem to find out any info about using it. (If anyone knows, drop me a DM)
  11. I saw this on Twitter and thought I'd post it here, too. Central Station is struggling in the lockdown as is asking for help to stay afloat. I think it would be sad to see another venue disappear, especially one that has played host to sleazy clubs like SOP, Pants, Feet on Friday, to name a few. Many of my memorable experiences have taken place in their underground club in the basement. If Central Station closes, I believe that these clubs will find it almost impossible finding a new home in London and we risk losing them along with an important hub in the community. 12. Firstly want to thank @RawTop and the moderators for bringing us BZ. It must be a lot of work to keep running, secure and keep us prolls in check! I am used to how the site works, but there are a couple of things that might make its use smoother... I think you have to remember this is primarily a forum and not a general social media/hookup platform. Searching for a member by username is a bit clunky as you have to go to the search box, select more options, select members and then search. Would be nice if the search box showed members as well as posts by default. The URL hiding thing is probably necessary evil, but quite annoying. Now I am used to it, and I am happy Safari allows highlighting the text and ctrl-click to select open in new tab. The point about 'posting in the right place' - sometimes the navigation doesn't help - I recall my one and only suspension resulted from someone else posting in the wrong place. I saw it in my notifications feed, and I hastily followed up by posting something along the lines of "Oh yes, me too" without double checking which forum it was originally posted in... That resulted in a week's suspension, which I've always thought a bit salty given the OP contained the inappropriate content for where it was posted. Anyway... that's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned, but I think using a different colour or something for the public vs restricted access areas might help clarify where you're posting. I believe some of forums can be read without logging in and are public and indexed by search engines - again sometimes I wonder if users realise this when posting? Again a colour code or something might help.
  13. Can you repost the link? It seems to have been removed.
  14. We are finding that many of the bits of home exercise equipment we've procured during lockdown can be repurposed for play. Weighted bags can be used under the prosterior to prop up your butt when laying on your back. Resistance bands can be used to help keep feet/legs up when laying on back - thread band behind neck or through harness and use the ends to hold feet/ankles. Bosu ball has many uses for creating interesting positions and angles particularly for fisting. Adjustable incline bench also useful for positioning, tying up and is a more stable platform for harder scenes. Interlocking gym mats make a wipe clean floor for playing on A friend of mine has a tilt table for hanging upside down which was originally for therapy but with modifications got repurposed for bondage play. A wander around a branch of Decathon with your imagination engaged there are many possibilities. Just before the last lockdown they had a sale and I was going to get one of their full face snorkels to investigate the possibilities but I had better not elaborate as we are outside the fetish section.
  15. Definitely worth watching. I love the attention to detail in "It's a Sin". There are real things that I'd read about at the time and forgotten, like the crematorium that refused to cremate bodies of AIDS patients for fear of contaminating the air. Now it sounds crazy, but back then everyone was scared. Something else in the series that stuck a memory was mortgage companies wouldn't lend to gay people because no life assurance policy would cover them. Many people had to lie to get mortgages or get ones that didn't require life assurance cover, which cost more. Apart from the storyline, being an 80's geek, the detail in the sets is spot on - decor, clothes, technology, and cars. We watched the first episode live, and streamed the rest over last weekend. It's getting rave reviews, and deservedly so.
  16. "Microwave sex" - That made me LOL. That is getting filed away for future use.
  17. Ah, but have you had to switch her off, wait ten seconds and switch her on again?
  18. + add me to this: I agree it would be useful. I have unfollowed people in the past because of overly prolific commenting things like "Yeah!" "Me too" etc on dozens of images.
  19. @RawPlug - gets a special mention since we've met IRL, and I am really looking forward to doing so again once lockdown allows. @schvenn @dirtyfuckboy @Gregory @kiwiguyuk @JamesL100 @sleazebugga @daddybare @bare2bb @6Demon6Seed6 @alphaboy @saunatopuk @7bb86 @slipitupme stands out as he writes some great stories on here. Would love to meet and play with guys who have such imaginations, and I suspect some of it is based on experience of places like The Fort.
  20. Freak/Freaks/get Freaky are a term I've been noticing a lot lately when looking at USA based profiles - and the context would seem to imply different meaning from my normal understanding: . My understanding is that it is used to describe something outside what is normal, but done to some kind of extreme or excess and I'd usually associate it with a fetish, like Rubber Freak, Gear Freak, etc. But having seen it in so many non-fetish profiles, I am wondering if this term is used as covert drugs reference?
  21. Which Red Roof was that? Buckhead?
  22. I hear that there are 5,000 trucks stopped at the UK border in Dover/Folkstone unable to cross... If it wasn't for Tier-4 lockdown it did occur to me it could be worth a trip to provide some Christmas relief... but the reality of truckers being stuck on an airfield for days without access to toilets or showers may not live up to the fantasy...
  23. In my experience the issue usually is that pictures are requested under the guise of arranging a meet, or forging a friendship over a common (fetish) interest - but they never really intend to meet in the first place. Usually fairly easy to spot, though. They have a short attention span and will move on to someone else if you can't send them the pics "right now".
  24. Thanks for the follow!

  25. A lot of us have hopes pinned on vaccinations in order for cruising venues and clubs on the scene opening up again. In the UK they're estimating people in my group (mid 40's) won't get access to the vaccine until June-September 2021. And that's if everything goes to plan. [think before following links] https://www.omnicalculator.com/health/vaccine-queue-uk When I enquired at my doctor's office about their plans, they said they're not planning to do vaccinations as they don't have the manpower. So, I'm not holding my breath for any kind of normality based on vaccinations soon...
