It should not be forgotten that there are still countries in which you can be, at the very least, jailed for being even suspected of being gay. And, at worst, executed. Throw in extremist religious views, and we, as LGBT, are still in great danger. Even in the US, extremist religious and political leaders, encourage harm be perpetrated against us. To paraphrase, Those who forget the past, are destined to repeat it.

I could be mistaken, but this topic was discussed years ago on here. During that discussion, it was stated that a U.S. citizen could be prosecuted in the U.S. for what he/she legally did in another country, with someone who is considered underaged here.

At a time in the U.S. when women are losing the rights to control their bodies, it is sad that some in the gay community believe that THEY shouldn't have the right to control THEIR OWN body. I'm pleasantly surprised by most of the responses on this topic. A lot of times on BZ, the attitude is expressed that a bottom is only a hole for the top's pleasure. The selfish person is the top who does have the feeling that any hole is his for only his pleasure. When I top, I want the bottom to enjoy receiving pleasure from me. When I bottom, I expect him to respect me and attempt to give me as much pleasure as he is receiving from my hole. the psychological pleasure knowing that your partner is having as much fun, is for me, as stimulating as the physical pleasure I receive from him. In short, "NO!" it is not selfish to want and expect pleasure from your top. My 2 cents, for what it is worth.

I definitely would also like a good gay friend. But I've never had one either. It would be fun to have another gay guy to go out with or go on vacation together. I also have another straight friend whom I've known for 20 years, and he's always on the lookout for the types of guys I like. He has no problem saying another male is hot. That could be because he's European, and they are often more sexually liberal.
