  1. What a time to be alive 😂. We had to make do with a notebook and the wank banks in our heads.
  2. Love to join you, Andy. Alas, I’m not in London this weekend.
  3. Well, there was this imam in Manchester I used to see…
  4. I totally concur. Not just Grindr, either. The same goes for Scruff and BBRT.
  5. I think you’ve hit on a real conundrum most of us can identify with, or at least recognise. “I couldn’t put my finger on” sums it up perfectly. Sometimes it’s impossible to know what ignites that spark of attraction or lust between two people. And as others have pointed out love/hate are two very strong emotions that are not mutually exclusive.
  6. There are some really fit Uber drivers in Manchester. Haven’t had one hit on me yet, or vice versa. But never say never.
  7. Yes, it’s a great place. Older and quite a few Asian guys when I’ve been. It’s a bit of a trek on the tram from the city centre and then the walk up the hill. But worth it!
  8. In my experience most guys will go in raw given the chance. I can’t recall the last time I saw a guy use a rubber in Manchester.
  9. Is there a section on dog breeding? I think my Jack Russell could do with a mate.
  10. It seems rather odd to me that someone would join a site called Breeding Zone, which makes no bones about what is discussed, then clutch their pearls and reach for the smelling salts like some outraged Dowager Duchess when they read something they don’t like. I did 20 years in TV and whenever someone bleated about a show, I merely said “there are other channels and I’m assuming you don’t have one of those TV sets without an off button”. Do I like every discussion on here? Of course not. Do one or two make me uncomfortable? Yes. But press gangs aren’t roaming the streets forcing anyone to read anything. So I do what most do and skip them. This site doesn’t have to pander to every member’s whim. I hate a lot of what is in the Daily Mail. But I still buy it because I like the showbusiness coverage. I pretty much dislike what Rupert Murdoch stands for but I’ve happily worked for his companies because principles don’t pay the rent (and most writers are socialists except when it comes to money). And what do we mean by “illegal”? This site has members from across the globe. What is illegal in your country may not be in mine. There are some members on here who live in countries where it is illegal just to be gay. Do we deny them a voice? For what it’s worth, I really enjoy this site and I think the moderators do a bloody good job. It isn’t perfect - no site is - but I do find this throwing toys out of the pram rather wearisome.
  11. I’m glad it sounds much like the Sailors I knew and loved. That terrace was - and sounds as though it still is - absolutely marvellous. I really must make the effort and go again soon.
  12. @Treehugger and I share the same attributes. My balls are my most mentioned feature.
  13. I miss the cottages. And you’re right, it’s maddening how a handful of selfish people can ruin a cruising spot. There is a fabulous beach in Norfolk called Holkham. If you’ve ever seen Shakespeare In Love, the very last shot of the movie on the beach was filmed there. The beach is a nudist beach. It stretches for miles and back in the day the further you walked, the gayer it became. You’d get a great and eclectic mix of guys there. A local Catholic priest was a regular as were quite a few American airmen from nearby USAF airbases (and those guys were hot). If you watch the movie, the tree line shows where the cruising area was. Meet a guy and walk into those woods for 5 minutes and the SAS couldn’t find you. So the authorities turned a blind eye. But then some guys started fucking on top of the sand dunes in full view of families on the straight part of the beach. So, naturally, there was a crackdown. I’ve not been there for years because of working in Manchester. I’ve no idea if the cruising recovered. As for the original question - I love Manchester. It’s a true Bareback City. I can’t recall the last time anyone wanted or even mentioned a rubber.
  14. “Most fuck properly”. Love that!
  15. There was a lot a raw sex even when I was a regular. I expect there’s far more now. I certainly wasn’t the only barebacker there.
  16. I haven’t been for quite a while, but I was a regular a few years ago (and the Pride of Stepney nearby). Sailor’s was my favourite sauna back in the day. It had a good mix of blokes of all ages and classes. And it always felt friendlier than other London saunas.
  17. Agreed. I feel we’ve missed out here. There were a couple in London, but they seem to have vanished now. Still, we did have The Fort. But even that has gone.
  18. Since half the world now seems to be taking its kit off to entertain the other half, I have no qualms about being filmed. I also find I enjoy amateur stuff more than professional material these days.
  19. One of my best - and sexiest - mates identifies as 100% straight. But when I asked if he’d ever fucked guys, he shrugged and said “Of course”, as though it were an absurd question. Still, he is an actor and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from knowing and working with actors, it’s that normal rules don’t apply! 😂
  20. When I reached my 50s, I feared the amount of cock I took would decline. The reverse has been true. And I find no difficulty in finding 30/40 something tops. That said, I am in far better shape than I was 20 years ago, which may explain it a bit.
  21. Yes and no. It can be amazing. But it can be bloody uncomfortable as well, let’s be honest. More than any other position, I think, angles and skill are all.
