    So I have trained myself and now have no gag reflex. The key is to learn to control your body’s automatic response to having something jammed down your throat! First you need to increase your ability to hold your breath for extended periods of time. You can do this in several ways but I recommend just doing regular breathing exercises to expand your lung capacity. If you over oxygenate your body, you can go without oxygen for a long time. Then you need to get comfortable breathing exclusively through your nose, so you can breathe with your mouth full.     I recently realized that I totally fucked up when I lost my job last year by not being on top of the deadlines and specifications for continuing the large life insurance policy that I had through my job - I got infected several years into my employment there so it was priced at non-poz rates. my dumb ass didn’t understand what their language was intentionally vague and I admit that I was a mess during the weeks immediately following my departure which was the only period of time during which I could transfer or convert the policy. I thought that I did everything I was supposed to but I misread the details and subsequently lost the coverage. Im actually pretty devastated about it but there’s nothing I can do about it now so now I need to find another policy and I think my best bets are either to get a new job and get the basic coverage (im trying to start my own business so that is the less likely option) or to get insurance through my small business (s-corp) which im looking into but seems to require me to hire some employees before I can give myself any benefits. if anyone has any insights i would love to hear them
