NY State wants to hold poz guy INDEFINITELY after completing a 12 year sentence

If you think criminalization of HIV isn't a problem NY State has filed a motion saying they want to keep a poz guy in jail INDEFINITELY. He's completed his sentence of 12 years for statutory rape and reckless endangerment for transmitting HIV, but that's not long enough to prosecutors and now they're trying an end run around the law to keep him in jail for pretty much the rest of his life.

This is just crazy. The guy served his time, and HIV isn't even all that deadly anymore... We're supposed to have the rule of law! Hopefully it'll all get worked out, but it's terrible that people would think this sort of thing is OK...

So what was the outcome of the NY state effort? It's been a year, I hope he got his freedom.

Still in prison, but he's going through a legal process to get out. The latest development is that he got his trial transferred to a different county where he can get a fairer pool of jurors.

In denmark they're looking to over turn their law on HIV criminalisation. If you want to lend your support to this campaign, you can do by reading more here, and signing your name to a letter going to the Danish legal system. I've put my name to it, it doesnt matter if you're not Danish.

I have a somewhat different approach to the issue of knowingly infecting or having unprotected sex without disclosing an HIV+ status. Is the person being infected a woman or a man?

Women are very naive and have no idea where men's cocks can be and in how many holes or mouths. So I object to when a woman gets unknowingly infected, when in fact she was after being loved. That's why I believe that when men start fooling around with other men in anon settings and bareback, they should stop fucking women. Who needs them anyway! Unless a man wants children, but in that case a man has to make up his mind.

In the case of men, well, men should know better. If they have an insatiable apetite for sex they should know that trusting other men's sexual history is not a good idea. Men lie, or they were too drunk to remember.

In situations where men intereact like human beings before sex , having a coffee, one should expect some honesty. But still, it's a bad idea to believe the other guy's sexual history because the guy may still be unaware of his poz status.

But in anon situations, like bathhouses and nother sex clubs or quick hook-ups, in my opinion, anything goes and one should assume that anything said in anon situations culd be part of the sex fantasy taking place. In these situations I find that stealth fucking is acceptable and no one should complain. For instance, if a poz guy is horny and wants to unload before he leaves the bathhouse and a hole gets creamed, even if the bottom asks for status before getting loaded, it's all OK.
