Can we just all just take a moment to wallow in the undeniable hotness of porn newcomer ARD?

This fellow BZ member (known on here as Toxic-Verse) was kind enough to lend his infectious presence to one of my recent OF fetish videos.  Suffice to say, when ARD stepped on set, none of us were prepared for the absolutely gobsmacking performance he delivered.

If you haven’t seen the vid yet, I’ve got previews ARD’s porn debut on my Twitter that are so hot, your phone might melt.

Austin is a freak in bed. One of the best slam sessions ever.  I was in Philly and we hooked up there.  I proudly carry his strains with me forever!

I find it fascinating that top porn stars from the early 2000s still perform in videos, yet bottoms seem to last a year, maybe a few years, and then they are gone.  I know u tube actually had an area where you could see all the porn stars who had passed away, their screen name and sometime real name, their age, and their cause of death.

It is interesting, those who were stars in the 80s and 90s died from AIDS primarily., then I noticed auto accidents, even murders and a lot of suicides.  I really wondered what drove these guys to suicide.

However, in say the last 5 to 7 years the large majority of deaths has been caused my one thing - overdoses.  Someone posted that porn is the only industry that either looks the other way or encourages substance abuse either on set or in their private lives.   AIDS is no longer the scary monster, it's the pills you bought from your dealer.  How sad.

Depression is probably a legit thing in that industry on a whole, even discounting drug use. I mean, it can't be easy for them off screen. Times are changing but society still looks down on people who do sex work and there aren't exactly a lot of openly accessible useful mental health resources for people in general for sex/drugs related depression. Even though I've never been in that industry, I feel like this is a completely unfair bias tbh. If it was treated like any other industry, especially on a work culture and policy level, I'm willing to bet porn stars would live longer, happier and mentally healthier lives.

There's a fairly new service called pineapple. It offers free therapy and support to people working in the online sex industry. I guess that's most, since videos are streamed or downloaded now.   pineapplesupport.org/

I will just add this, porn follows you the rest of your life and people have a very long memory.  If you are in your 40s, porn has gone from VHS, to DVD and now to downloads and purchasing of gigs.  However, those tapes and CDs remain in people's closets, under their beds, everywhere in their homes for years.  You find something from say 2003, and you are like, wow, won't this be great to play at my next group party.

The problem for many of those performers is that they have moved on.  I read what would best be called an "op-ed" where one well known performer was discussing the sudden suicide of a current day model and stating  his life was a continual battle to distance himself from how he made a living for about twenty years.  He's a huge top, he worked for a number of major studios and now he has a 9 to 5 job.  What he pointed out, and it makes perfect sense, is that initially porn stars are put on what might be called a "pedestal".    But you can't make a living doing four studio videos a year, and now with the advent of fans only accounts, and the constant illegal downloading, flicks from the late 80s, 90s, early 2000s and present day are available.  This particular model stated while he was mourning the loss of his co-star to suicide, he mentioned how when he rejected the sexual advances of a fan, he went from being called a "star" to being called a "whore".  Well, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, because though not all of us have had live sex on cam as I may have, they have had sex in either a group setting or three way setting, and they can be remembered and identified.

So I guess my point is, respect an individual's privacy.  If you come across an individual and you are in a club, at a party, at a sex party and you recognize them, I don't think there is anything wrong with asking them privately if they are indeed the performer you thought they were.  But to call them out by their "screen name" or "porn name" in front of a group of men  it is not a good thing to do.  For all you know, that individual may have put that part of his life behind him and may have moved on, either being single or in a relationship (and yes men who are in relationships do go to group sex parties, present company included).

Granted, no one forced these men to participate, but for them to have to carry the burden or title to porn star for the rest of their lives is a bit much.  I would test the waters gently before calling someone out about their past.  I wouldn't like it done to me, they don't like it done to them, and I am sure many posters here would not enjoy it happening to them as well.

Think about it guys!

He is one of my dream tops.  I would give anything to bottom for him.

You and a million other guys! It is a shame that poster did not have the opportunity to hook up with him and not be tapped.  I mean, I can understand his concerns, but how many times will this opportunity present itself again???
