Totally agree with all BadInBrooklyn's suggestions.  As far as a pic goes I hardly look at ads with no pic and don't use a fake one like a porn stars that is so lame.  You don't have to put a face pic do a body shot but some sort of pic of you gives the ad so much more credibility and makes it that much more worth taking the time to read and reply too.
