Squirt.org - Worth while?

While I like the idea behind Squirt.org, I get annoyed at the arbitrary limits placed on what you can do with a free account. Does anyone here have a paid account? Is it worthwhile at all? Do you get any hookups off it?

I do and have had Squirt for years, it's one of the few i do pay for (comparatively cheap?). I don't pay for any others right now. I have a couple of times with all of them, more recently Recon, but Recon seems more relationship oriented to me than a hook up site. I can pass for at least 10 years younger pretty easily (not an illusion), but I don't lie about my age when there's a possibility of relationship/s like places like this. I love the Breeding Zone community, some really honest and vulnerable stuff gets discussed here by some very cool and thoughtful guys. This place is unique in my book, but has never resulted in a meet up or hook up for me.

 Squirts hit and miss like any other hook up site. It does have some decent member/amateur vids and has cam chat rooms it you are into it. My experience is the various hook up sites like squirt, grindr, BB, a4a, MH, asspig, CL, Recon, fetlife, etc., (lol, i have quite a list) are kinda territorial. I.e., some are popular in some cities, others are more popular in other cities. Squirt worked well for me in VA, CL in KY, OR is a little harder because I'm not in a very big city, but BB seems pretty popular in Portland. Oh, yeah, got some great hits on AP and BB in Palm Springs... but then, PS seems like a gay Mecca to me, especially for older gay guys.

I had a paid Squirt account but let it expire and not renewed it. As @tallslenderguy said it's a hot or miss and it's more popular in certain regions/areas. In my case there are not that many guys close to me (or no interesting ones at least) and did not get any hook ups from it. Just an occasional message/chat from a few guys who wanted sex while they were halfway around the world. What I got from it did not justify the $80 membership fee. Just too much.

The free account works for me. I just use it to look up cruising areas/bars/resorts etc.  for holiday destinations and reviews from guys who have been or are there. And I still can see new users close to me. Ok, there is a limit to what you can do/see but so be it.

I don't get the membership fees of sites like that anyway. $80, really? If you have a site with -let's say- 100,000 users worldwide and you charge $5 for an annual membership (which doesn't really break the bank for anyone) you would very likely get a lot more guys to buy a full membership and you still rake in a healthy $500k per year........I am no expert on this but I think that would cover your maintenance costs and still give you a nice net income. Unless I have that totally wrong of course and the costs are a lot more than that.

I had a lot of memberships when I still had a job and could easily afford it. Cancelled them all when I lost the job and I only miss being a paid member of one particular one (Planetromeo).

i had a paid membership but let it go when it expired. i just use the free part of the site 2 see if there is action at some public places where i could get fucked in a toilet stall a sex club or video booth.

I like Squirt mainly for the cruising side of things but they have even put a limit on how many cruising listings you can view per day and it's ridiculously low!

i don't mind encouraging people to pay for a service but considering the number of time wasters on their site and picless profiles, not to mention all the cross dressers (and there's no way of filtering that out) you'd think they would be a little more open.

i take advantage of getting free stuff by posting new listings and reporting spam accounts etc.

 

if I'm going somewhere new for a while I may pay for it for a short time.

I just recently got back on Squirt, but as a free member and only to check out the cruising listings (adult bookstores, etc...).  I wouldn't pay for it where I live.

I'd love to see that list,  seriously.   As for squirt IMHO it's more miss then hit.   Way too many Bull shiters on there.   99% of the guys I met were not even close to what there bio on the site said it was.   I had two tops from there that bareback, both could eat ass and fuck for ever and cum more then once and leave a huge load.   Then one guy his wife followed him to my house.  and the second guy just could not get enough free time to stop by or at one of the local ABS''s .    there is a bath house 30 minutes from me which is decent.   The dark room is the best you never know what cock is in your ass or mouth.   There have been a few nights that were very full filling for me in there and meeting some of the guys later at different places but you could never call or txt them because of WHO they were and where they worked.   I'm not into sharing a cell number unless it's going to be for real and not this hide behind the curtain shit.   Also for squirt the local cops are into reading the cruising list and you know where that leads

I echo the others sentiments about squirt as its more recent updated free membership interface is fairly clunky. It always seems to be a lot of local area postings for "anyone at this place right now or in two hours". Plus a lot of police enforcement active in certain areas of my region makes public place hookups pretty risky. Had used m4sexnow, recon, bbrt but not enough contacts or too many to deal with sorting out the flakes.

I've had more local luck through asspig, silverdaddies (older gents), and bigger city (chubs/bears) plus craigslist when traveling outside my home state. Bigger city has one of the best free membership functionality I've seen but you MUST like chub to super chub guys. No gym rat /pretty boy/ fat shaming attitudes needed on there. And I actually met my chub boyfriend on that site.

They are making it more harder for free users of the site by limiting you're access even more . TBH the rewards overall  is dreadful .  I've been on that site for a wee while and have only ever met one guy from it ..

I have an account there too under a different alias a little more discreet but obvious to the real bare fuckers out there, I have a free account that is plus for a year & every year i just make a new account for the plus status. To be honest i've never had any real hook ups from plus squirt &  it's mostly day reamers on the other side of the world that i am never going to meet let alone see in the real world but they have a reasonable section for cruising places etc that is updated by members so that is a plus but otherwise i would never pay to become a plus member it's just not good enough & there are better sites around that you can find for info like night tours.com etc

Have had a squirt account off and on for years now, paid for it for awhile, but didn't prove out to be any better for the bucks spent, Did have a couple of hookups from it over the years, but nothing to brag about. Just mainly into using it for the cruising sites in the different areas I roam to, and keeping up on them now.
