Apparently just HOURS after CL shut down the personals, a new site was born to replace it...and it's registered overseas (France to be exact!) The site is doublelist.com and it's already booming! Keep in mind, it's only a couple weeks old but it does look to be the new CL when it comes to the personals. Read the FAQ or HELP section, they stress the site is only going to get bigger and better in the days/weeks and months to come. Remember, this all started over backpage.com (which is well known to have been conducting illegal activities on the site.) CL not so much...I think they jumped ship way too fast! 1

My sources are federal investigators who are watching these sites for human trafficking. As far as the ones overseas clearly they have no jurisdiction. And as I sated in my original comment I was not aware of the relevance of all the sites. That being said just because they are out side of the US jurisdiction dose not me they are invulnerable to US law enforcement influence. 1

It's not a great as CL, but there are a LOT of ads on there (at least in Dallas). It doesn't list age, which sucks, and you have to be VERY specific in the title to attract attention. They take a hard line on illegal activity so don't mention escorting, PNP, and other things.

In NYC area it seems mostly guys looking for j/o or blowjobs. Is this because ads for fucking or more intense sex are deleted on Doublelist? I haven't tried it yet myself. 1
