Guest Posted January 23, 2021 Report Posted January 23, 2021 How does one turn off notifications when people comment on images that aren't your own? Quote
Moderators drscorpio Posted January 23, 2021 Moderators Report Posted January 23, 2021 Are these people you are following? If you follow someone, you get notices every time they do anything. Quote

Moderators viking8x6 Posted January 24, 2021 Moderators Report Posted January 24, 2021 I agree this would be a helpful feature. Quote
AirmaxUK Posted January 24, 2021 Report Posted January 24, 2021 + add me to this: I agree it would be useful. I have unfollowed people in the past because of overly prolific commenting things like "Yeah!" "Me too" etc on dozens of images. 2 1 Quote
Moderators drscorpio Posted January 24, 2021 Moderators Report Posted January 24, 2021 For the record, I feel your pain on this issue. I don't know of a way to accomplish this. Maybe @rawTOP has an answer. 3 1 1 Quote

NLbear Posted January 25, 2021 Report Posted January 25, 2021 Tbh I don't really mind. Yes, there can be a lot but sometimes the comment makes me curious and directs me to a pic I haven't seen before. It's the same as reading a comment from someone you follow to a thread you haven't seen before because it did not show up in your notifications. But a feature which allows members to switch off the comments would be handy for those who are annoyed by them. Quote

travelingbi Posted January 27, 2021 Report Posted January 27, 2021 I unfollowed someone a few weeks go. I don't think I've ever had to do that before. But, I found his commenting on dozens of pics every day was getting annoying. Clicked unfollow. Problem solved. Quote
