verslut Posted March 14, 2023 Report Posted March 14, 2023 Newtumbl's terms of service state a user can be banned for any reason or no reason. So while that blog post is the company line, I assume staff are banning users with borderline content as well.

Those are not “Terms” that I would accept, particularly not if I were going to post any content. The site owners seem to overlook the fact that without the content posted by its members, its site consists of blank screens. So its “terms” are essentially “We get to profit from your content and have no obligation to you whatsoever, kay? Any questions? No? Didn’t think so.” The whole notion of being arbitrarily and capriciously unaccountable for the way account holders are treated is not unique to NewTumblr (looking at you, BBRTS), and I hope that when @rawTOP gets his services ready for action we can look forward to having some alternatives with common-sense management. 2
pervinmt Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 Well, I created a third account, and it was nuked already. My content was pretty innocuous this time. Interesting how people post scat, and drug use, and that seems to be fine. But regular nudes or fuck scenes are not. Guess I'm done with it sadly. I really did like that site for the variety it offered.
SlampaBay Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 Saw notifications for this topic and got curious and checked my newTumbl account. And Lo and Behold! I've been 86'd again! First time for this site, though already bounced twice from Zoom, once from MeWe and once from Skype. (I bounced myself from Twitter last month.)

Wow, do we have a lot in common. I got bounced from a Zoom room for partying, and Skype for having sex in a group where I thought that was the reason we were all there. WTF? Where are we supposed to go? Are you banned from MeWe? 😯 Wow I don’t know what they think you did but that is rough. I used to party openly on Google Zoom rooms and I always asked the moderator if it was allowed, so I knew I was safe. I don’t know if you tried my-slam.com but they are very lenient. Just an opinion…. Take care

Just gonna stick to bdsmlr for now I think. got nuked for the 2nd time a couple of months ago .. emails to support never replied to .. I was just reposting what others had already posted. IP address blocked .. fuck'm. Tumblr is allowing full nudes now (but no actual sex), twitter is full of all kinds of porn, and bdsmlr.com is good too. And of course - there is Breeding.Zone! 🙂 1
pupHawaii Posted April 26, 2023 Report Posted April 26, 2023 and for those of you who want to check out some tumblr posts without an account - try tumbex.com .. lets you do searches for tags and save favorite posters .. easy and works well .. 😆
Guest Posted May 2, 2023 Report Posted May 2, 2023 I just read your post about being banned on newtumbl. I was just banned today and I'm perplexed. I did not post or reblog underage content or exposure content. But I WAS getting very frustrated with the rampant child pornography. I ended up flagging a bunch of stuff. I'd try to play videos to see if they still worked and to see what kind of content it was. If it did work and the offense was particularly egregious (not marginal), I would flag it. I would sometimes return to the same blog and the same image to see if it had been deleted. To take things one step further against this, I tried to strike up friendships by feigning common interest. I wanted them to add me to their private tiers so that I could flag even more content. Then one day, boom. No more blog. Permanently banned my IP. I'm trying to figure out what this was about. I made a few posts indicating that I had flagged people and for a moment thought that maybe it was retribution, but I never got the alerts for being flagged. So not sure that happened. Have you heard anymore about this? Also, given that I don't feel I was doing anything wrong, and as a matter of fact trying to help the situation, I would like to know what happens to my IP other than them blocking it. Would they report it to someone and if they do, what does that likely mean? Please help. As a noob, I don't know if this means anything serious at this stage or not. The IP that was blocked was my phone and I was not using a VPN.
Sfmike64 Posted May 2, 2023 Report Posted May 2, 2023 (edited) It's really hard to know why you were banned. They won't tell you why and there is not really a "they" in any case, because you can't contact a human. I do think it's important to flag content that's clearly underage, there is sadly a lot of it, but trying to engage people beyond that might've been too much. Someone could have reported YOU for underage stuff as retaliation. In the future, I would not advertise that you've done so. Basically when NewTumbl works it's good. When you run into a problem they just nuke you and do not care. If I get nuked again I'm not going to try again. I now have to use a VPN to post to NewTumbl (or respond to messages) because they blocked my IP and those don't change very often from cable companies. Edited May 2, 2023 by Sfmike64
NBBTTM Posted May 2, 2023 Report Posted May 2, 2023 Twice cancelled there myself. Gave it up cold turkey, just not going to play those types of games with a service that just drops your account for absolutely no reason. Every time I give up on an online platform, I get a little life back. Except here, I'd never quit THIS site!🤪 1

versasslover Posted May 4, 2023 Report Posted May 4, 2023 My account was deleted over a month or two ago. Glad I have all the vids backed up, and would love to start posting again but what are the alternatives?

Pleas consider something else for your VPN provider. Norton360 is basically sanctioned spyware and bloatware. Try some open source alternatives or message me if you’d like a more up to date guide on data sovereignty and privacy that has options and links to trusted review sites. 🙂

THey're not expensive. I use Windscribe. It's about $5 a month if you pay for a year at once.

In order for me to post with my new account I have to connect to a VPN. And of course there's no way to fix this. My cable company won't just change the IP address of my router (which is allocated by a server, not static). The entire thing is absurd. There are ways around it with a bit of knowledge about DNS resolvers and using a tool like Portmaster + SPN that allows you to globally control the entry and exit nodes of every single connection at the micro and macro level. Shoot me a DM, I have a guide. Also, you’re more active than I am, please warn the guys thinking they are safe with Norton360s VPN that it is a log based VPN meaning they store and share anything. RestorePrivacy did a write up on them: [think before following links] https://restoreprivacy.com/vpn/reviews/norton-secure-vpn/ *As always, read, assess critically and form your own view and do not take mine or any other person‘s opinions as fact. What your use case for privacy is always going to be different than others. Privacy advocates agree that a no logs VPN is the place to start*.
