I make a point of telling new/potential bottoms that while I prefer a "clean" hole (in terms of feces, not cum), if "shit happens," I'm not going to freak out. As a BTM I spend a lot of effort cleaning out. I’m probably successful 70% of the time. In the event I have a party foul it’s an instant mood kill for me. Even if the tops ok with it I stop and clean up. Always appreciate the tops that are understanding but I don’t push the issue if they don’t wanna keep going. 

As a TOP I usually go soft pretty quick. I def don’t shame the btm but usually call it rather than trying to force it. Always down to give it another go after it’s all cleaned up.
