I am curious as to how many guys prefer to pay for their porn and how many are just happy enough with short porn clips on tube sites

Personally I love watching porn and as someone who respects the art of pornography and nudity I want porn stars to be able to earn a decent wage and not have their work be taken advantage of (and before anyone says anything I am not accusing anyone on this site of doing so I am speaking generally as the porn industry is a very hard industry to be in while also saying that being in porn is my dream job but I digress)

But back to my original point 

Who here prefers to pay for their porn and who just prefers their porn to be free

I am currently subscribed to two different sites (I have subscribed to almost every premium gay porn site as well as paid for hundreds of onlyfans/justforfans accounts as well as tokens on sites like chaturbate and cam 4

As of right now, I am subscribed to multiple content creators on both onlyfans and justforfans as well as the following sites

Years ago, I paid for DVDs (that gives you an idea how many years ago) as well as an online subscription to Treasure Island Media. I also paid for online subscriptions to AEBN, Pig Prod, and another site I can't remember anymore. (Again, it was a long time ago.) But since then, the explosion of individual guys as well as online sites providing both amateur and studio porn for free has freed me from the need to pay.

It also has saved me quite a lot of money, because I'm a porn addict.

I pick and choose who to sub to on JFF. I do not sub to studios, but if i want sometime bad enough i will (reluctantly) pay for it. (that just means some TIM and dickwadd movies)

I'm fine paying for porn.  I've got quite a few digital paid versions on a drive.  But I'm struggling to find a studio that turns me on anymore.  When I was younger, HDK was super edgey cuz it was piggy bb sex, TIM turned that in to even more plus eluding to things.  Now I look at the new TIM stuff and they are doing exactly what I think happened to HDK which is becoming just.......whatever.  I've already seen something similar and it's not edgy enough for me.  If there were an edgier bb gay porn studio I'd buy.

Amateur stuff is really turning me on these days cuz those dudes don't give a fuck.  I wish we could send them some mics and some lighting though! 🙂

Totally agree. I think I once paid 3.99 for an official DVD-rip from the HDK website which was on clearance or so. Just because I liked the late 90s / early 2000s stuff which was just so much more "real", because it was less polished and overproduced. I mostly bought it for the nostalgia. I still have happy memories of e.g. HDK and Active Duty, because they showed the same kind of sex I was having myself at the time.

Today I sometimes watch the 4-minute "Latin Leche" clips or earlier stuff from Eric Videos on the usual porn aggregator sites. I just wouldn't pay for it.

I mostly avoid US American porn productions. They are just so contrived. How many times can you recycle the old "stepbrother" trope? Also, in their search for bodily perfection, many actors fall into the trap of imitating each other (so they shave their hair in all the same places, have all the same sculpted eyebrows), which gets old quickly.

I buy films/scenes if the porn is a specific fetish that's a bit niche (speculum, group fisting, felch, pissing in gaping holes etc) especially if I've seen a bad quality version online and can't find a better version elsewhere.
