On demand is flexible and pretty easy when you know the rules. And when you do it right you're protected for the times you have sex without taking tablets all the time. For example when I have a meet with a guy and use prep on demand I only need to take four tablets total. The rules for covering a weekend or holiday depend which days you have sex, and you'd need to learn the rules from a health professional, but following what I've been taught a 7 day holiday would be at maximum 10 tablets total for me, which isn't a lot really for being covered for a whole week long holiday or business trip. The tablets I get have pretty long dates on them so it's ok to put them away for a while. I think the injection is not a thing where I live, but maybe in the future. It would have the downside of having to go in for injections, but it could be good to avoid affecting my stomach as I won't be eating it. Handy for some guys. Also forgetful guys, I know some are bad at remembering pills. A friend I meet for fun has a memory problem and I always message him before and the two days after to take them if we meet or he meets another guy. Maybe there should be a prep app for guys who need reminding to take it and help to remember if they already did.
