    Well, I migrated to a new server last night. It was all going fairly well until this evening when I hit the back button a few too many times in the admin control panel and accidentally went back to the page from last night when I deleted the database for this site in my attempts to get the database to import cleanly (Sigh). So I managed to wipe out about 12 hours of posts - from 5am this morning to just before 5pm tonight. Mea Culpa... Oh well... Shit happens, right? Let me know if anything seems broken (I know about some of the banner ads - working on that)...

    Best area for gay stuff is to be on the west side somewhere between the West Village (low single digit streets) to Hells Kitchen (West 59th Street). And you can get good hotel deals around Wall Street on the weekends. Harlem has good hotel prices. If you stay near 125 or 145 and 7th or 8th Ave you'll have good subway access downtown. Just avoid the Upper East Side - it's hard to get from there to gay stuff.

    There's a difference between gay and "MSM" (men who have sex with men). Gay is about the relationship. MSM is about the sex. It's perfectly normal (though a bit rare) to want a relationship with a woman and sex with men. I think some people fall into that category because of homophobia and prejudice but there are some where it's just how they're wired. So you can be here wanting to get fucked by guys and still be straight when it comes to relationship stuff.

    I think the point is that Treasure Island's primary business is porn, it isn't running community web sites. They could violate free speech all day long and their porn would still be incredible. So who cares if they don't protect free speech? They're still a great porn company... And as others have pointed out, there is no right to free speech on forum sites. Free speech means you can start your own forum site and the government can't censor it (in most cases).

    I've been noticing the past couple weeks that I have zero libido and I'm sorta "blue" - not really depressed or anything, but just sorta numb and going through the motions. It's not the first year I've felt like this around the holidays. I definitely get the Christmas blues... I'm not particularly close to my family and my bf's family just isn't the same... I think it's just a swirl of unconscious emotions... So I guess it's sort of a multi-part question... Do you get the holiday blues and if you do, how does it affect you sexually? Are you less sexual or are you more likely to bottom, etc?

    I just ordered the test from 23andMe.com - $173 with shipping and the year's subscription prepaid... After 12/25 it'll cost $400 more - though they do seem to keep running these $99 specials (plus 1 year membership). Will be interesting so see what they find.

    MAL is smaller, but they allow bareback studios to participate in the vendor area and the guys who go are definitely into having a sex filled weekend.
