Looks like you guys are starting to formulate something of substance... Flesh it out a bit more so I understand it... How it is different than being on a hookup site? How are people (both bottoms and the tops who rate them) vetted? How public should the information be? I'm envisioning a public listing of cumhole bottoms who are available to take any load. There would be pics and stats and a fairly accurate location. The idea being if you don't want your location or identity known, you're not really a public cumdump and shouldn't be on the list. There would also be contact information - a cell number would be ideal so the top could contact the bottom for a spur of the moment fuck. Cumdumps might want to think about getting a dedicated cell for fucks... Cumdumps could optionally even list their address. If you've seen Ted's Cumwhores you know there are guys in LA who put their addresses out and then just let tops randomly stop by. That could also be useful for things like IML or when a bottom is traveling and in a hotel. He could list the hotel and room number and just let guys stop by. The top goes on the site and using geolocation (similar to what you'd see with Grindr) could see cumholes close to him. The question is whether it should show distance or a map with an actual location? He contacts the bottom, fucks him, and then has the option to leave a rating and a review. There would need to be some way to validate the tops so you don't get bad reviews from fake tops. The other question is how to show online/offline status for the bottoms. If it requires constant logging in it may seem dead and pointless. Maybe bottoms can fill out a schedule and block out times they know they won't be available (work hours, times they're sleeping, etc.) So I guess it's different than a hookup site in that there would be no profiles for the tops - it's just a listing of bottoms. And it would also just be a listing of the most diehard cumholes - ones who literally dedicate their lives to taking loads. Though I could also see it being used by guys on sex vacations, or tops who are whoring out bottoms. In terms of vetting, we'd need to start with a few trusted cumholes who validate other guys. Maybe a phone call is required to be validated. Tops could then choose whether they want unvalidated cumholes shown when they're looking. And likewise a top wouldn't be validated until one or more validated bottoms said he was for real. So does that sound like what you guys want? What changes/enhancements would you make to that idea?

That's not the reason. Legally you can't consent when you're high. And if you consent before the fact and then get high the consent becomes void. Without legal consent the video can't be distributed/sold. Then there's the whole issue of documenting illegal activity - not a good idea. The last thing it's about is barebacking...

Josh, It's not about it being commercial as much as looking commercial. The signature pics shouldn't dominate the page. Looking in the admin section, you have uploaded your signature pic. Not sure why it wasn't embedded in your signature. Put the following in your signature where you want the pict... Change the { } to [ ] {sigpic}{/sigpic} You can also put a URL around the sigpic so clicking on it takes the person to your blog.

Yes, you can upload a pic or link to one on another server. The options are right under the text area for editing your signature. Keep the pics small though.

It's possible - there's a section on the edit signature page for embedding pics, BUT that pic is way too big. General rule is I don't want signatures to feel too commercial - so pics have to stay pretty small. See Seth_BBP for an example of a user who's gone about as far as I'd want anyone to go. His is fine, more would be a problem.

That's by design. You can edit them for a few minutes after you post them and then after that only an administrator or moderator can change them. If you could change them indefinitely then people could respond, and then when you change their response would make no sense...

Just to give an update... I'll be changing everything to a new host in the next month or two. Once that is done I'll start the tube site and chat site (with text and video chat)... My current hosting arrangement is a bit limiting (servers I administer and I'm not the best server admin)...

There was a guy on Project Runway a season or two ago who had to withdraw because of it. It's VERY serious, but also somewhat random.

How is that even possible? We're less than 300 days into the year, so you get 5 or 6 loads a day on average in your ass? How do you manage that many? This site is primarily a discussion forum. It's just a hookup site for the people who want it to be a hookup site. So all those things you mention - pics, stats, location - they're all optional here. When they're there, they're under the "About Me" tab. As far as profile pics and avatars. Go to "Settings" (link in top right corner) and you'll see options in the left sidebar to set them. The avatar is the image that shows next to your posts. The profile pic is the pic that shows in your profile. They can be the same pic, but you need to upload it twice. Actually, it looks like you've figured all that out...

I'm taking a different tact... I want big videos - I'll save two versions - one at the original bit rate and one at a lower bit rate. Then I'll introduce a premium membership that will lift bandwidth limits, let people see HD videos, and give them more chat features. So your videos can be viewed by anyone for free, but they'll need to pay to see them in HD. Like the advertising, the paid members will help support the site and keep a free version for everyone.

I'm glad you like them... No, I have other input. I've been watching industry discussions about tube sites for probably 2 years. I was reluctant at first to jump in with them - so many people were having problems making them profitable. Honestly, if it takes a little while to really take off I'm OK with that. I want to get the kinks worked out. I know my challenges will be 1) to stop people from uploading pirated videos, and 2) to keep sponsor videos high quality. If I can keep the right focus, it'll grow...

Well, last night I went out drinking with the guy who will host the site for me (he's here in NYC, a friend, and hosting porn sites is what he does for a living). He gave me a price of $500/month for hosting. If I move all my sites to him (and pay a bit more) it'll work, but it means a major move. So the tube site and video chat site aren't happening tomorrow, but I'm working on them... <rant> BTW... I see someone restarted a couple sites that "compete" with this one and they pushed the fact that they're ad free. Well, unless you've got a huge trust fund, that's not a feasible economic model. Sites grow, they need powerful servers and lots of bandwidth. If you're serious about doing the sites you have to make sure you can afford it when they get bigger. They need to turn a profit, which means the ads are necessary. My hosting bill is currently $700/month and with the tube and video chat site that's going to go up... How can someone be serious about this and not have ads? </rant>
