    After looking closely at the hacker's activity on the site I'm reasonably confident that we've found and repaired the damage. It could have been far worse. If I find other problems there's a chance I may need to do a rather drastic fix that would wipe out a bunch of posts. But for now that doesn't seem necessary. If you're wondering the hacker last week was from Iraq. The one today was from Morocco. Please keep an eye out for problems and PM me or email me if you see anything - rawtop@breedingzone.com

    Yes, after my host locked down the server the site was hacked yet again (via another method). Because the hacker messed with the database this time (and previously a few days ago - though I didn't notice it until now). I may need to restore from a backup which could result in data loss - meaning your recent posts will get wiped out. I'm not sure yet what we'll do to fix things. Fingers crossed.

    With Firefox do a "get info" (Command I on Mac, presumably Ctrl I on Windows). Choose the Media tab. Scroll to the bottom and the profile pic will be one of the last listed. Just choose "Save As..." and you've got the pic.

    People need to hear more stories like that - they get the idea that using condoms means they won't get HIV, when in fact it only reduces 90-95% of the risk. The 5-10% risk can still result in the guy becoming poz.

    FYI - I'm still dealing with this issue, so don't have time to get into what happened too much. But someone in Iraq used a vulnerable file on this site to do bad things. I've corrected the problem on a number of my sites, but there's a different but similar problem on many of my smaller porn blogs - still trying to figure out how to deal with those sites. (My host is helping out).

    Too narrow a market. Hookup sites have to have broad appeal or they don't get the critical mass to be successful. Yeah, I know... I'll get back to trying to get that to work. A friend recommended a solution, but it's not cheap. Gotta figure out my budget. But first I'll try to see if the new version of the old solution works better than it used to.

    Keith Olbermann did a segment on the Olympic boycott… Short version - American sponsors are starting to pressure the IOC to do something. They're afraid of negative publicity hurting their corporate image. And if the advertisers stay away from the Olympics, the Olympics will be a colossal failure.

    Do realize that if the US figures out you went to Cuba it's a $15,000 fine. My boyfriend is a Canadian citizen and he's not allowed to go because he's a US resident and subject to US law. It sucks, so be careful!

    If you're in NYC and looking for an apartment there are a few near me in Harlem that are available… 1) A floor-thru in a brownstone. Rental grade finishes. I think the rent is a bit over $2,000/mo. The one caveat is the building next door is being renovated, and the noise can be pretty miserable - so it's really only good for people who leave and go to work during regular business hours. 2) A garden duplex in the same brownstone. Has the same day-time noise issues as #1, but more space, a garden and a deck. Not exactly sure of the price - I think it's in the mid-3s. 3) Next spring or summer there will be a brand new building looking for tenants. Should have good finishes. Most of the units are one bedrooms. A couple have views. There's also one duplex garden apartment and a studio that will be available. The building will have a shared roof deck with barbeques and a good views of midtown. The one bedrooms will go in the low 2's. The duplex will probably go in the mid-3's. Contact me if you're interested. These are all no-fee scenarios.

    There is an app you can use - Forum Runner. User experience on the app is a bit different, but it's an option. Or you can use a browser other than Chrome.

    So gay sex is wrong where it is/was criminalized? So the anti-gay laws in places like Uganda or Russia are OK because the people there consider gay sex immoral? There are things that are illegal that are not wrong. Many of those things are considered immoral by many people. Despite being illegal and "immoral" there's actually nothing wrong with the act.

    As soon as you criminalize HIV a whole bunch of bad things happen. Fear increases. Fewer people get tested. And people go to prison for stupid mistakes ("I was drunk, you didn't ask, I assumed you were poz"). The only form of criminalization I think is even somewhat legit is when 1) someone is poz, and 2) they tell someone they're neg, and 3) then cum in the neg person's ass/vagina, and 4) the person becomes poz, and 5) it can be proven that the virus came from the poz guy in question. IMHO, ALL of those things should be true for the poz guy to go to jail.

    I just put up a new video player last night on Raunchy Fuckers. One of my assistants is telling me it's sometimes crashing Chrome on the PC. I did a little testing on the Mac and can't reproduce the problem. If anyone is encountering issues, let me know. Be as specific as possible about the problem - when exactly it happens, what the nature of the problem is, etc.
