    Back in the day I was too scared to go to Mount Morris Baths. One of those things I regret - I really should have been sluttier back then. I now live in Mount Morris Park. The bathhouse is long-closed, but up until about 6-9 months ago the sign was still there. I snapped a picture of it before they took it down and started renovations on the place... Back in the late '90s West Side Club was a lot of fun. How long ago was it that you went? I haven't heard many people talk about it lately. I thought it was pretty dead.

    My boyfriend has started talking about taking it. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for someone like him or not. He doesn't like anonymous sex, doesn't have sex with that many different guys, he's a total top, and half the time he uses condoms (but doesn't like them). So he's having sex with just a few guys who he typically knows pretty well. They've talked about status. And he's topping. IMHO I'm not sure his risk level is high enough to warrant PrEP. HollywoodSlut - sounds like you're also pretty low-risk. How do you draw the line for when PrEP is warranted? I mean there's a real risk in just taking the meds - they're powerful and there can be side effects. Or do you just back off if there are side effects? But will the damage be done at that point?

As far as jockstraps - there are many different cuts - find one that looks good on your body type. Some have straps that attach further back, so the straps are a bit more vertical. They may won't cut so much into the softness of your butt. Like this one… Buying a size bigger might help - but you don't want it so loose that it looks like a diaper either. I'd also suggest one that doesn't have one of those push-out pouches - you don't want to draw attention to your cock.

    Just thought I'd start a thread with good gay erotica on Netflix. I've seen a few things on there that were pretty racy. Sebastiane - It's a gay "art film". All the dialog is in Latin so who knows what they're saying, but there's a fair amount of full-frontal nudity and TONS of near nudity (and rear nudity). If you're having a gay party and want something playing as a visual in the background it's a decent choice. Given that it's in Latin, it's not the sort of movie you sit down and watch end-to-end. It's available via streaming, not just DVD. Taxi Zum Klo - I LOVE this film. It's German about a Berlin school teacher who gets into some rather hardcore sex. It's available via streaming and DVD. I hear "Gay Sex In the '70s" is good. I've got it in my DVD queue. Unfortunately it's not available via streaming. So what films have you guys found on Netflix?     You can become poz using condoms. You can become poz on PrEP (even taken correctly). A lot of it is about numbers. Take enough risk and no matter what risk-reduction method you use you will become poz. In a way PrEP is sorta just drawing things out. If a guy would become poz after 6 months of being a slut, now it might take 5 years. So instead of 6 months of bug chasing he's bug chasing for 5 years. It probably depends on how you define bug chaser. I think a lot of people probably look at it differently than I do and say that if the person takes some form of risk reduction then they're not a bug chaser. I look at cumulative risk. So I see the safe sex bottom who got gangbanged every weekend at the bathhouse as a bug chaser. But PrEP definitely changes the equations. Puts more power in the hands of sluts and wanna-be sluts.

    My bf and I have been together for 15 1/2 years. Having talked to a lot of other long-term gay couples almost none of them are monogamous after about the 7 to 10 year mark. For all practical purposes all long-term gay relationships are "open relationships". In fact I would say guys who demand monogamy simply don't have long-term relationships. Period. So assume that he's hooking up with a variety of guys on a regular basis. Also assume that he wasn't cheating on his boyfriend. There's probably a 50/50 chance the boyfriend knows he fucked you (and is OK with it). "Married" gay guys are great if you want a no-strings-attached fuck. But if they've been together for 17 years don't kid yourself by thinking he'll leave the guy for you - almost never happens. So not a good place to look if you're looking for a boyfriend, but great if you just want sex and don't mind working around his schedule ('cause his boyfriend will come first most of the time). And pulling out is lower risk, but it's FAR from low risk.

    I recommend 23AndMe - they do a few different tests that are related to whether you're resistant/immune or an HIV controller. Plus they show you a shedload of other results you'll find interesting. They're the leader in genetic testing/profiles - with financial backing from Google, etc.

    Some of those actually make sense to me - or at least I think they're useful… Some people do have lines - or something similar. Trust me. What it really means is the person may go out of their way to hookup with you if you match those criteria, but don't expect much effort on their part otherwise - which is useful to know. Of those two #4 is at least being modest (sorta). Sometimes a face pic isn't an option. As far as Hot4Hot - that's useful to know - because it tells me they're more about appearances than good sex.
