If you live on SSI or SSD for AIDS (and you contracted the disease in your 20s) your check is generally about $1,000 a month, but it does vary state by state. Your income up to the point you applied for disability benefits also comes into factor, if you had a high paying job you receive more. There is also other income you can receive from an employer who may have had a disability payment clause in an eployee's benefits package. When I say AIDS, I mean those who have been deemed eligible to receive SSD or SSI, not just someone who has tested positive. Now may I ask, who can live on $1,000 plus EBT in almost any part of the US? It's tough. I am just posting about the AIDS community, not about all those who receive EBT. Food panties can help supplement, but the most I have heard of any single man receiving SNAP benefits is about $298. Try buying groceries with that kind of budget. You take away SNAP and that person has some severe food insecurity.

I have seen this happen at a bathhouse I used to patron and I am not a fan. I don't find it exciting, In any way, to have sex with someone when they haven't shown interest or agreed. I have read that one individual who was arrested was merely wearing a rainbow bracelet to celebrate Pride month. He claims he was using the urinal and not cruising. Till all this nonsense is over (I suppose the next three years) I wouldn't cruise Penn Station, that's for sure. I don't think they are merely looking for illegal immigrants, it's just a form of harassment of the gay community. It seems as if we are moving backwards in time, not forward. -
I have not noticed it much. If you have body or face pics posted, or even in your narrative, most guys know your race. I have to think back to the days of AOL, where I used to see "No fats, fems, blacks" etc, and it was fairly common. But since that time I don't think see it as often. I understand people may have a "preference" when it comes to race, but there is a nice way to go about that without saying something ugly. If you're not interested, you just move along.

I was there in Mid-October 1 year and I was not disappointed. Plenty of eager guys looking to play (both tourists and locals). One thing to remember is that commercial hotels like a Hilton or a Sheraton will not allow you to take anyone to your room who is not registered to that room. So, many tourists have become wise and started to rent AIR-BNB or VERBO type of houses, condos, whatever - that allow you to have locals at your place. I was rather surprised the first time I was there and I was approached by security in the lobby (they were wearing suits, not uniforms) and told me I could not have a guy in my room who was not registered with the front desk. I made the best of the situation but I thought I would post my experiences. It appears that another poster has listed what may be other "housing" opportunities that you can use that are more open minded.

I would think tops would appreciate bottoms who lean more towards the "whorish" side (though I don't know exactly the definition of "whorish" is in 2025).
