I recently did an online consult with a doctor at Ro for some form of PrEP. I take it on demand (2-1-1) as I only get fucked maybe once a month if I am lucky. He said on demand dosing is fine, although he can't prescribe it that way under FDA regs, unlike in the EU. He also prescribed Doxy in case I take a load without PrEP onboard. He said this is his standard practice. I should mention, my experience with Ro has been great. They scheduled a video conference with a doctor the next day (may not be required in all states). I had the test kit (blood, throat and anal swab, and urine) the next day. I had the prescriptions arrive via mail or UPS within a week of starting the process. The best part is that it has cost me zero out of pocket. Even though I'm retired, I'm not yet 65 and not on Medicare, so I am on a Marketplace plan

I do the same. I can go weeks without getting bred, so I hate taking it every day due to the slight risk of side effects. From what I've read, on-demand is approved in Europe but the U.S. FDA hasn't approved that dosing regimine. That may be because they don't trust our average American to follow the instructions for on-demand dosing so it is better just to have them take it every day.
