I've known a few guys who "turned" gay. In each case, they were always gay but closeted. They got married anyway usually owing to religion or family pressures. Then they'd find a nice glory hole and do their thing. To this day, one of my friends tells me "There used to be a great bookstore here" when we're driving through some town, referring to when he was married in the late 1970s. In each case, the marriages broke up and the guys are either married (to a man) or in a relationship. They all had kids, whom they're proud of so regret isn't the best word to describe their time in the "bush" league. But the wives were profoundly hurt by the situation.

Without getting into the specific sexual acts of ancient Greeks and Romans, For the most part, I doubt it were the younger ones using their older slaves or prostitutes. And unquestionably, there would be a power imbalance between a slave and whomever was having sex with him. I'm sure some 13 year olds are mature enough (physically and emotionally) to handle it. But think about when you were that age: There was a lot (non-sexual) I thought I could handle in the moment that, in retrospect, I probably couldn't. I was absolutely a horny and precocious kid and I could handle what I was doing...with other kids. But I also knew I was gay at the time. Thinking of the scandals with Scout leaders or priests, a lot of kids were f'd up and some got addicted or offed themselves as a result. But again, that's probably more an issue of power imbalance than a couple kids messing around in the basement.

It would have been relatively recently. My sex drive just dried up and my testosterone level was low. Still is, but my drive has rebounded. I usually don't jerk off multiple times a day, as I once did, but probably closer to a cadence that "most people" (i.e. not on here!) would consider normal. -

No brothers or nephews (yet.) I've fantasized about some cousins but at this point that will probably never happen. One of my earliest memories was with my father. I was maybe 6 and he took me to a movie. I needed to go to the mens room so we went together (this was pre-privacy dividers.) There's an old IT saying: It's a feature, not a bug. Which is to say lean into it. Not everyone wants to get railed for an hour. I was recently at a party where I (top) couldn't cum quickly enough for the bottom. There were various (unimportant) reasons for that but the moral is that there are a lot of guys who just want as much DNA as they can take. They'd rather take a dozen loads in an hour than have one guy lasting that long.

I'm shocked to read about the guys who were self-conscious because they developed EARLY. I was a precocious kid but this was pre-Internet and I had no brothers so I rarely saw guys naked. Consequently, I was super worried that I was late. My first bf, in my early 20's, was Latino and VERY hairy. I used to joke about shaving him. I want to say it was my bush but I don't distinctly remember. Today, I consider myself moderately hairy (chest etc.) But I was fixated on pubes when I was a kid, especially armpits. Actually, I love a guy's pits to this day and mine aren't particularly hairy. At the time, I thought I was a late bloomer and I'd never hit puberty. In retrospect, I probably wasn't especially late but a few guys of certain ethnicities (Italian, Greek, etc.) just naturally were hairy early. I used to gauge who was able to shoot by how hairy their legs/pits were. I remember as a freshman in HS, there was a kid in my class who had a full beard (facial hair wasn't allowed but it was obvious he shaved his face.) I didn't shave until 18 so I was jealous as hell.

My boss is British, has been in the US for 20+ years. I find this thread interesting. White guy here, late 50s. I was in my late teens before I even saw my first dick/cock of a different race. My earliest recollections was calling it a dick. It was even an insult "You're such a dick!" I started calling it cock later and now use the terms more or less interchangeably. It was always cum to me, or jism before I was old enough to manufacture my own 🙂 I first heard "nut" from younger black guys; I figured it was just part of that slang. Skeet used to be another term but I haven't heard that recently. I'll use nut if I'm with someone younger or a black guy. If I was with another white guy around my age (heaven forbid!) Of course. "Just the tip" is the oldest line in the book. I used it on guys a lot when I was young (and meeting young, less experienced guys.) Sometimes I meant it, sometimes I didn't. Usually, what I meant was that I wanted to reach the tip of his intestines unless he 1) really was in pain or 2) not clean, which happens with inexperienced guys.

I'm a neg top. If I'm asked, I'll tell someone that but they'd be stupid to believe me. You're just going to find a disproportionate number of poz guys doing "unsafe" stuff; that's how people got that way in the first place. Assuming someone doesn't want to be pozzed, it's now pretty easy to avoid with PrEP, and of course HIV isn't the death sentence it was 35 years ago. But there's no reason to trust a horny guy is going to be honest with you. Just like I promised to pull out when I was a young adult. I always did...after the first blast. -

I'm wondering whether any of you are attracted to guys who have some disability (broadly speaking.) I never really thought about it. Once, many years ago, I met a guy who had a progressive condition which left him in a wheelchair. Things still worked down there. That didn't turn me on or off, per se, but I knew he didn't see a lot of action and knowing that I was the only guy who would get him off DID turn me on. Not least because he blew like Mount Vesuvius whenever I sucked him off. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a pity fuck; I enjoyed it as he did. It never really went anywhere because he was living in a long term care environment and it kind of weirded me out. I thought people knew about us and I was semi-closeted at the time (late teens/early 20s.) Call it paranoia. More recently, I was talking to a guy in a similar situation and found myself oddly turned on. Again, not because of the wheelchair but because I assume he doesn't have any sexual outlet. In this case, it's possible he can't even jerk off (I didn't ask.) But even non-physical issues, like guys on the spectrum etc. would turn me on, not least because I consider myself to have a number of the same characteristics and I know how difficult it can be to get to know guys. I'm still very much into able-bodied guys but maybe I have a hero complex or something...coming to the "rescue" of guys who have no other outlet. Anyone else share this?

Whether it's nature or nurture, I think most guys strongly prefer pussy. I doubt straight men could make themselves gay any more than vice versa. Under certain circumstances (prison, deserted island, etc.) you might take what you can get but only until women are available again. And, of course, most of us are bi to one degree or another. Would I fuck a woman under the proper conditions, such as a hot guy in the bed? Maybe.... But yes, there are a lot of bi guys who hide that part of their sexuality. My best friend from HS was one. Whenever we played, I got him off in under a minute. I can't even get hard if I'm not attracted to someone.

Back in the day, a gay Catholic kid could avoid the "When are you getting married" question by entering the priesthood. When being gay became more socially acceptable, "vocations" dried up. I used to work on election days at my local polling place and the 2 parish priests came in together. One was flaming, though my gaydar went off on the other as well. Turns out, the flaming one wound up on the pedo naughty list. The other was moved to another parish though I think he kept it legal, or at least nobody came forward on him.

Just the opposite of me: Younger, smaller/thinner. Ideally cleanshaven face (body optional.) I don't get into tatts or piercings but I can deal with a couple, as long as the guy isn't a walking billboard. I'm OK with any race, though I do love a non-American accent 🙂
