I'm not an expert on making porn at all but from a business perspective I would think it's the producer and/or director who calls the shots (so to speak). They know what type of movie they want to make, e.g. a "true" breeding scene or a pull-out-and-show-the-money-shot type. The actors do as they are told (yes/no?). Difficult. If I had to choose it would be quality over quantity. It is much more satisfying for me (I'm a selfish bottom). I have one fuckbuddy who fucks for at least an hour or so before he cums. I think all guys, gay or straight (apart maybe from transgender guys?), at some point have measured their dick. Curious to know how yours is compared to others you have seen, read about or touched.
