    That's unfortunate but understandable. Maybe if the original author is still around it can be explained to them what the limits are and a new version of the story could be crafted that fits within the allowed parameters? I know that sometimes moderators have worked with authors like that in the past and that's a great thing when it happens. Of course authors have to be willing to be reasonable. There are good reasons why certain things have to be banned even if a lot of us don't always like it.

    So the stories are written in German and need to be translated to English? I know we have a number of people from Germany who post in English that might be able to do that. Can you use something like Google Translate to get a rough translation and then someone could edit that?

    It is widely advertised, but I've never used it. Tor is a free download and does everything I need it to. It's not even terribly difficult to use, but I may not be the best judge of that since I've worked in the computer industry for over 30 years. It was easy to install on my Android phone and Linux desktop though, so I imagine it can't be much of any harder on Windows or Mac or iPhone but I've never tried it on any of those personally.

    I hope we don't lose too many users. I know a few I corresponded with in the UK were very resistant to consider using something like Tor because they don't understand it or they've been told it is somehow dangerous or only for nefarious "dark web" access.
