    Hi Danny I'm poz and have been since 2020. I'm on meds and undetectable. Every 6 months I visit Dean Street clinic in London for sexual health check and to get another 6 months supply of meds. Otherwise my life, sexual and non sexual, is much the same. In one way, I no longer worry about HIV because I've got it! But with the advent of PrEP you can live a more exciting sex life (that said, get checked for STIs and treated if necessary). Not sure I'd deliberately try to get pozzed nowadays.     I was put onto Biktarvy when 1st diagnosed poz 4 years ago. After a year I was put onto Duvato which I've taken since then. I was told it was "gentler". No side effects to either and I'm undetectable when tested every 6 months.

    It shouldn't make any difference. I'm poz on meds and undetectable. Almost all sex I have is raw and so anything I do get is treatable. Do get tested for everything regularly though. Knowing your status on any infection etc is the key to getting treated.
