    Hi Danny I'm poz and have been since 2020. I'm on meds and undetectable. Every 6 months I visit Dean Street clinic in London for sexual health check and to get another 6 months supply of meds. Otherwise my life, sexual and non sexual, is much the same. In one way, I no longer worry about HIV because I've got it! But with the advent of PrEP you can live a more exciting sex life (that said, get checked for STIs and treated if necessary). Not sure I'd deliberately try to get pozzed nowadays. If you are poz and on meds, life is a bit more complicated and inconvenient.

    I was put onto Biktarvy when 1st diagnosed poz 4 years ago. After a year I was put onto Duvato which I've taken since then. I was told it was "gentler". No side effects to either and I'm undetectable when tested every 6 months.

    It shouldn't make any difference. I'm poz on meds and undetectable. Almost all sex I have is raw and so anything I do get is treatable. Do get tested for everything regularly though. Knowing your status on any infection etc is the key to getting treated.
