Viagra is too harsh for me. I don't like it, it seems to hit you all of a sudden and just is kind of overwhelming with the headaches and feeling kind of sick on it. Cialis gave me pretty painful muscle aches after 3 days, but that was because I had taken 5mg for 3 days in a row. I didn't know that the stribild could boost the levels so I just had too much cialis in my system and it was too much too fast. But once I figured out that I can space Cialis out by a couple or three days, it works great! And the side effects are much less. I love how it stays in your system so long, it's a lot milder & more spontaneous. It gave me some headaches early on, but that was also due to taking it every day the first few days. I tend to know usually when I'm going to have sex or look for sex, so I don't have to take it every day anyway. The doc told me to either take 2.5 mg a day or 5mg every 2-3 days. I find that that works much better, and doesn't make me feel like crap either, because it's not as overwhelming. And I still get the full benefits of it too. I just never could handle Viagra, they just feel way too harsh and don't last long. I get much much harder with Cialis too. -
I haven't ever tried Viagra, but I think you need to be careful taking Cialis or even Viagra with Stribild. Last week I took 5mg Cialis for 3 days in a row, and it worked really well but the 3rd day I had some pretty bad muscle aches & a fever & I learned that there is an interaction between Cialis & Stribild. Basically something in the Stribild boosts the levels of Cialis. So the doc told me to take 2.5mg a day of Cialis, or take like 5mg or 10mg every 2-3 days. Just have to be careful and aware of the dosing times and how much you take. Everyone is different. For me I found that Cialis is absolutely great if you take it every other day or even every two days, and then it won't interact with Stribild at all. And it stays in the body so long that I don't even need to dose every day anyway. Best thing is to just talk to the doc. But once I figured out a good dosing schedule with it, Cialis has given me the hottest sex ever!

I've been poz for about 10 years now. I probably got it around 2004. I didn't know I had it, & I didn't have any symptoms until about 3 years later when I sero-converted, which was not fun at all. I was diagnosed in 2009. My very first labs, my cd4 was 294, and my viral load was around 40,000. It had probably been higher than that earlier on, before I started taking better care of myself. But thankfully I caught it in time. I started treatment a few months after diagnosis, was put on Atripla. It worked really well and very fast. Within about 3 months, I was undetectable & started putting on weight for the first time in years. I got healthy again. I stayed on Atripla until a few weeks ago, when I had to drop it because it had been causing some sleep problems & anxiety issues. I am now on Stribild, which is working really well so far. Some of these meds can cause cholesterol problems and last labs mine was a little high and I'm not remotely overweight it's something to do with metabolism and the meds, but not a big deal. I credit the meds for keeping me undetectable and healthy. I never get sick not even common colds! And before I started meds I was sick all the time every little thing got me. Some hiv meds can raise the levels of Cialis in the body, so dosing is important. I can't take it every day. Doc said it's fine for me to take half a tablet or every 3 days or so. Just kind of depends on what I want to get into or how many loads I want to give. I don't need too much anyway. Nah, Viagra doesn't agree with me. Cialis is a lot milder & easy tolerate provided that you don't take too much at once or close together. -
