If this is in the wrong area, please feel to move or remove. There is a lot of talk here about viral loads. Are HVL (high viral load) and UHVl (ultra high viral load) medical terminology, or just terms used by the poz and barebacking community? If they are actual medical terms, what are the ranges for each term? I know that under 50, is undetectable, so what are the baselines for the other terms? And, what were your VLs when you were diagnosed as being positive? I’ve seen guys say they had a VL of over 10 million. I’ve also read that you can be pozzed by a VL as low as 370. So, it would be interesting to get some official VL catagory numbers. There are some guys who are in the medical field on here, along with some truly intelligent users who have dived deep into the subject. Thanks in advance. I have no idea. It would be nice to get a truly unbiased opinion. For me, of course, I don’t understand what makes a person hot or ugly. I do have my preferences, but it mostly has to do with body size, smoothness and personality.

Thanks in advance for any information. We all know that biohazard sign is a way to indicate that you are HIV positive. Not being able to see, I don’t know what it even looks like. I’ve never seen a tactile version of a biohazard sign. My first question, is there any way to indicate whether a guy is detectable or undetectable? I’ve seen guys on here wonder if they have the right to have a biohazard tattoo since they are undetectable. They feel they may be falsely advertising or being disrespectful to those who are detectable. My next question, is there any symbol or signal to identify an active chaser or gifter? It seems to me like that could be helpful in a bathhouse or major PRIDE event. I totally regret and am depressed that I’m still closeted to some degree. My parents know, along with my two best friends—both of whom are straight. None of the people close to me whom I’ve told, had any idea that I was gay. In fact, and quite humorous is, that the first two words out of the mouths of the first three people I told was, “i’m shocked.” After the third time, I almost laughed out loud when it was said. For the most part, my parents are supportive. My two friends couldn’t be any more supportive. Being blind complicated the whole thing , of course. No one with a disability has sexual feelings. And, certainly not homosexual feelings. I did know since I was 12, that I liked boys. I know that I would have most likely been pozzed, during college, and most likely dead now—which I can’t necessarily say would be a bad thing—if I had had any sexual experiences. I truly admire the kids today who come out when they are 12 or 13. I wish that would have been me. I’m slowly letting myself be a little more honest around people. Since the pandemic began, I’ve gotten in contact with friends from when I was in school. I immediately told them I was gay when we started talking about marital status and such things. Amazingly, none of the guys had any idea I was gay in school. One girl said she didn’t know, but always knew she would be safe with me, in all since of the word. She never worried about me trying to be sexual with her. Now the big question, would I change things if I could? Here’s my shitty answer. I don’t know. I would like to think I would, but that is something none of us can ever do, so will never know.

For my entire life, I have suffered from the condition called cowardice. I knew from the age of around seven, that I was “different.” I discovered at that age I absolutely loved the scents of boys. By twelve, I knew I was gay. Being blind, I couldn’t see the other boys in the lockerroom. But, they couldn’t see me either. But, I loved the scents. There are legitimate reasons for guys not taking PREP. As has been mentioned above, kidney and liver problems can develop. Also, there can bee bone issues. In addition, Truvada and Descovy can block or amplify the dosages of some medications. For example, some seizure meds are made almost enactive.

What I’m getting from the responses so far is, many guys in darkrooms prefer images from past experiences to enhance sex in the dark. I’ve got a question for all of you sighted guys. I’ve always read that men are visual when it comes to sex. And, gay guys are even more visual.
