  1. I can't help but wonder if the way you stack phrases like ones below, all found in a single paragraph, might have been just a tiny bit inspired by SNL writers or Kate McKinnon's "Ms. Rafferty" character. The alien abductee and one time time traveler who, always arriving pantsless, refers to her grumpy and dumpy; cooter and tooter; juicer and ducer; clam casino and bean burrito; and staring down the barrel of her south mouth. You wrote: "...getting his fudge dispenser scrubbed out by my tongue... And my dick attack up his newly christened virgin fuck chute last week didn’t really qualify as a fucking. Nowhere near a Kevin style plundering of every tender rectal tissue I owned, bruised, stretched and slathered with multiple loads of dicksoup, until I literally couldn’t speak. Yeah, I was definitely going to auger out his pretty little dickwarmer until he drooled in senseless ecstasy."
  2. Someone reminded us this story has been building for the past year and, based on your other stories, a happy ending seemed inevitable. As extraordinary (rich people who fly to Europe to watch their favorite football team) or romantic (Daniel and Jordan) your story lines are, consummating marriage to a prince is the ultimate "happily ever after." Granted, they have consummated their relationship who knows how many times but, with only the two of them in bed on the wedding's eve, you reminded how this cast of characters has matured, pays tribute to and draws strength from Alex and Max's love, first and foremost, for each other. You managed to keep the specifics about Max's elevation a mystery while instilling in key characters (and therefore the reader) recognition that something very special had been decided. You continue to exceed my expectations which is no small matter as fairytales (pun intended) go.
  3. I've been impatiently reading this story in real time as new chapters post while consuming other @losolent stories, reading most in a single sitting. Sadly, I believe I only have 3 more unread stories to go. This author's characters are so diverse and richly developed. The plots move in broad arches, incorporating rich knowledge of travel, cultural idiosyncrasies and formal protocols. In some stories, there are times when I wish the opening, intimate characters would renew their intimacy but that is likely just my sentimental nature. Still, a renewing private intimacy between Liam and Alex would be the ultimate welcomed surprise. I would not want for such a scene near the end of a story at the expense of having been introduced to so many interesting characters. Each one an individual weaved into an ever complex but friendly web. What I like most is that web is filled with protagonists, usually limiting antagonists to a single, really bad actor (pun intended with future expectations) or a then, yet-to-be-revealed good soul like Gareth. I can't say enough good things about your story telling @losolent. While playing catch up consuming your many postings, I found Bajan Love Affair and The Gifted Virgin so exciting that I recommended both to my female hairstylist. The pozzing and unprotected sex aspects of the stories she found educational. Uncertain whether any chemicals or other unabridged Breeding Zone plots would be similarly received, I pasted the chapters together for each of these two stories and privately shared them with her as separate PDFs. I confess this and apologize in consideration of any copyright implications. My only defense is how much these and most of your stories deserve a vastly larger audience. As Alex and Max depart for an international movie premier AND with recognition that all movies depend upon an edited screenplay, it is inconceivable to me that stories like The Gifted Virgin wouldn't find broad movie appeal with very few plot adjustments. The classic elements of great literature and rewarding fiction appear present in each of your stories. Even if present in your profile, I pay no attention to your age but hope you have many rewarding years of life ahead. And beg that you will continue to share or sell your great gifts across the decades. Sadly, I doubt any of us realize how popular these stories are at this site or how well received they would be if consolidated (non-forum threads) and posted/published somewhere for a general audience to discover. You have my deepest appreciation and thanks for your commitment to great story telling. For you are truly great serving up each chapter. Thank you
  4. The best thing about discovering LIFE OF THE SPARE as it still being written is the immediate pleasure I've found reading your earlier stories. You have such an extraordinary body of work already shared here and it is your story telling, not the sex scenes (alone), that keeps expanding your audience. This is my first time writing. Based my on my own quiet appreciation of your work, I suspect you have no idea how many fans you truly have. I believe I only have two more stories to read before I am 100% focused on a royal wedding in Monrovia. When it comes to your writing, I could care less if anyone is poz, bugged or chasing. That said, this story truly honors the forum where you choose to publish. In fact, a discerning reader who looks beyond the stealthing practices of men damaged by absolute family rejection can learn much about HIV from several characters in this story. Learn how passion can cause even the most cautious person to engage sexually without discussion or condoms. Learn how those infected can choose to take responsibility for their own actions while also holding unmedicated barebacking tops to a greater portion of any blame. Learn how those tops can still be loved and forgiven. Through Jamal, we got a glimpse of how someone with a likely high infection level might choose to forgo medication for an undetermined period of time. Through Sean at the beginning of their relationship, Simon was reminded that those who love want their lovers and friends to do everything they can to prolong health and life itself. I'm able to enjoy your stories having grown confident that the underdogs to whom you introduce us will find acceptance, love, opportunity, family and community. Learn that you might have a young or middle-aged person face a life threatening situation but would only have something truly tragic happen if it served the greater overall good. SPOILER ALERTS And that takes us to Joshua. His post helicopter "ever after" was completely unexpected. On the surface, I admired you allowing for the possibility of him being damaged by family and life but that someone could believe in his mental healing. But not before I worried that he would escape and scare or harm an expanding circle of victims. What I nearly missed was how even some of the most damaged gay men, ones with unlimited resources who likely could make a bad guy truly disappear from this planet, also understand the cost and strain that would bring to the victims they hope to protect. Simon's willingness to poz one night stands, and his wealthy friends' capacity to pay virtually any price to fuck who and how they want, comes across as having little respect for life. With great wealth likely comes some belief they might always have been pursued for money -- doubting if they (or anyone for that matter) can truly expect unconditional love. In your stories, we find young people and not particularly rich people giving unconditional love. In turn, proud men who plan to pay their own way in life learn to accept love, gifts and comforts beyond what they could have ever imagined. Simon's will has been rewritten at least one more time and it no longer matters whether five year has passed or not. We know Sean was only seeking someone to love him and not his porn fame. We know Simon felt only unconditional love from Sean and perhaps everyone he left significant inheritance for. Simon very likely died undetectable but certainly knowing he was loved for who he was more than what he had. Rich indeed.
  5. IF you don't want to wait until the leather expo opens in the host hotel, you can get poppers tonight (Thursday) and G Books on U street. They usually open at 5:00 PM. It's a unique store with an element of hoarding going on. The proprietor sometimes offers a free bottle of popper if you buy two. I wouldn't expect that with a purchase of one unless your spending a lot on other things. G books is a 1520 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009 (202) 986-9697
