I appreciate the response. It helps add some perspective to the situation. I just don't get why they would think it wise to kick off someone who's just browsing. What's funny is that twitter's own site says they will tell you exactly what post got you kicked off, but my friends who have tried to make that request keep getting an email back that they're permanently suspended but never get the information they're asking for. -
Well this is what's odd, two of them were not blue subscribers but would both browse and post, one was a blue subscriber and browsed and posted, a third was not a blue subscriber but would only browse and follow, but never liked or posted or did anything else to interact and he got suspended too. So I was thinking maybe someone he followed got suspended for a severe violation and they suspended everyone that followed that person too.

A lot of them are getting messages that they've been permanently banned and can't create another account. A couple have tried to appeal but within seconds get an email that says that they're account won't be reinstated and they are permanently banned from twitter.

I don't use twitter much but my friends who do have been telling me they've been getting their accounts suspended left and right? Is this happening to anyone else?

When I moved from Southern California to Vegas I thought my sex life would almost be over, going from an areas with a greater population of 14 million plus to a city that has about 3 million residents. What matters in Vegas is not the residents, but the flow-thru traffic of tourists. You have to get creative at times or be able to host, because many of them travel with family and friends, but if you're willing to accommodate odd schedules, quickies, and an occasional drunken mess, there's plenty of regular sex to be had.

I moved from Long Beach to Cleveland at one time in my past. The "gay" scene was very different, good in some respects, bad in others. The good for me was that gays there were ordinary and not into drama. They were also more masculine and you didn't see feminine gays. There were also a lot of married (to women) men cruising for sex. The bad was that it was hard to find regular hookups, especially with the married men who had to sneak around, and since it's a small town, everybody knows everybody and everybody has already done everybody, and everybody has an opinion about everybody else, and everybody was into everybody else's business. Living in the Los Angeles area, the city was too big for anybody to get to know you that well, let alone care what was going on in your life, but in a small city, you feel like you're under a constant microscope from the others in the gay community.

The city of Vegas tolerates a lot, but unlike other cities, blatant drug use is not one of them. I'm not aware of any bath houses where they don't tell you not to bring in any drugs. The city is quick to arrest people doing drugs out in the open, so unless you want to appear on an upcoming episode of cops, I'd be leery of trying to do any illegal drugs in public places.

When a state government "chooses" not to uphold a valid federal law, that's called corruption. You can spin it any way you want but that doesn't change what it is. If you don't like the law, then change it. Otherwise, abide by it. No amount of twisted logic stops it from being corruption.

You know nothing about California. If California law cannot supersede federal law, then how can they be a sanctuary state when federal immigration is clearly illegal without federal approval? States have NO right under The Constitution to decide immigration matters, but yet many do. As a past California resident, I know first hand that California does what they want even when the Federal Government challenges them.
