It always amazes me, when guys visit saunas, truck stops, toilets, etc & then ask "THE" question & then also demands you wear a condom. 

    Many years ago, a common practice among some "naughty" hetero guys was to prick unopened condoms with a pin. Pregnancies resulted. I have no doubt that these guys (SICK as it is) are active within the gay community, even today. 

    Bearing this activity & other very inappropriate actions, in mind, visitors to any venue are voluntarily exposing themselves & risking infection.

Indeed...anyone in that sex party or bathhouse situation should know what to do to stay neg (PrEP), and act accordingly to protect themselves...so IMO no need to say anything about status. In my experience, I haven't seen anyone use a condom at a bathhouse in years and years, and that's how it should be! (Despite there being bowls of them laid out for people).

Well put.  You are only responsible for yourself and you need to take responsibility.

When I first started going to bathhouses, I was condoms only.  I made sure the top wore one.  I always worried about being stealthed or the condom breaking.  I never had this happen thankfully.  I also avoided getting myself in a situation where I was not in control.

Once I got on PrEP and started barebacking then I was able to comfortably let loose and attend blackout nights and other parties and get into situations where I had no control.

I’m no longer on PrEP but still go to bathhouses and sex clubs only.  I hit the dark rooms and offer up my hole no questions asked.  I love the anonymity of it all.  I know the risks and fully accept responsibility.

Same experience for me.  Prior to COVID shutdowns.  One of the bathhouses I frequent had condom stations throughout the facility in addition to condoms in a bowel at the front desk.  They did some remodeling while shutdown and when they reopened they only had condoms at the front desk.  Over the last few years I’ve hardly seen anyone use a condom.  Since I have been barebacking only two guys have used condoms and in both situations I was blindfolded and on play equipment so I didn’t realize until they were in me.
