I've wanted to go on an Atlantis Cruise for a long time. I've heard that there's barebacking going on. There was one last spring from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, and the ship was 4-5 days in Rio during the carnival. I was ready to book that cruise for next year, but they don't seem to have that cruise in 2015. Bummed. Well, I'll see what they come up with for the fall of 2015.

I never booked an all gay male cruise because I thought they were full of party boys and muscle marys showing off their perfect bodies. I would not feel comfortable there. Plus I am not much of a circuit party guy. Can imagine there's lots of sex on those. I think Atlantis and RSVP organize a lot of those?

 

I did go on a Seattle-Alaska cruise organized by Aquafest. It's a gay/lesbian group on a regular cruise on the Norwegian Pearl. The cruise was spectacular. Also Aquafest had organized it perfectly. Our own happy hour and performances in the theatre. The owner and his boyfriend were there as well. But the group (60 or so) consisted of a few lesbian couples and mostly older male couples.

No sexual tension at all. But that was not the purpose of the trip anyway. It would have been fun though being banged on my balcony :-)

I wonder if it was mostly older men and their younger companions because it was a baltics cruise seems like the baltics are popular with older men seeking younger guys.  I always wonder if those Atlantis cruises are like the ads show with not one chubby or ugly person to be seen.  Everyone all tanned, oiled, plucked and preened to perfection. lol

I too wonder if those ads are true. Imagine being stuck on a ship for 7 days with a 1000 guys, all with tanned gym built bodies and I could only oggle their perfect bodies and bulging crotches (which they will make sure they have). Torture!!! LOL

I don't think those ads are true. Not a 100% at least, but they put me off booking one. I rather prefer a cruise with a much smaller crowd with more "joe Averages". Changes would be bigger to hit it off with others.

Older men (without young companions) tend to go to the Czech Republic with their twink porn business and brothels, not the Baltics, I think. And I think the younger companions of older men on a cruise have a lot of fun between themselves when Daddy is away :-)

I went on one of these cruises in the mediterranean a few years ago.   The boat held ~2800 guys so you had the full spectrum of gay men.  The dick dock is a real thing (unofficial).   Almost all cruise ships have a small sundeck for nude bathing and this is the dick dock as it's the only place on the boat with no cameras.  Although I don't think it would have been a "problem" if you did hookup on camera - crew looked the other way on everything.   I talked to crew members along the way and they love the gay cruises - better tips, more fun and much more laid back.   Hookups were plentiful too.    In addition to all the groups of friends, you have couples ready to let loose.   Add in a lot of booze and you can pretty much play whenever you'd like.    Grindr still works on WiFi at sea so you had a lot of guys just post their room number and desires.

But somewhat older men and ‘younger companions’ seems more likely. Plus, when the ship is in international waters, the legal drinking age is 18.
