Camera For Filming?

What's a good camera for filming Xtube type videos for under $300?  I haven't researched cameras for years so I have no clue but would like to have something that provides a clean picture.

any new digital cameras 2011 up should do the job nicely .

i used a fujifilm exr550 to make a few vids of my ex girlfriend and that worked perfectly

yeah you can pick something up for £50-100. no need to bother with anything really expensive. just make sure you have a memory card with lots of memory. one i did ages ago got plenty of raw action and it was pretty basic camera

If you really want to dig into researching cameras with detailed reviews, check out DPreview.com 

But even a fairly recent smartphone with a good amount of free space would do a fine job, especially if it shoots HD video. Holding it steady (and not enough lighting) is the big problem I see on Xtube.
