I would like to get some advice on the best darkrooms in the USA, whether in bathhouses, bars or adult bookstores. I love darkroom fucking! It is the one place in the world I feel completely at home and comfortable. It is my absolute favorite thing to do and my idea of heaven. Of course I have my preferences in the men fucking me. Most of Chi-towns old real darkrooms are long gone. The Bijou theater used to have a great dark room but that shut down a year ago. Man's World bath had a decent darkroom but that closed in 2006.

SW GH booths can give you that same anon vibe, no matter your body-type, you can find hot action if you're aggressive enough. Pin your hole to a GH booth and your guts will get the perversion they seek. Ive never left empty or unsatisfied.

Darkrooms are rarer nowadays than they used to be but hot action can still be had if you know where to look.

I second Slammer in LA - and agree that many of the best spots closed - like Man's Country/Bijou/Eagle/Deeks/Manhole (Chicago), Faces (East St Louis), My Place/Mack (San Francisco).

I would also add, that while not true dark rooms (they are baths, playspaces, bars or resorts) these can be heaven for cocksuckers and anon load takers like me:

New Orleans:  upstairs at the Phoenix or way in back at Rawhide

Chicago: The Hole (downstairs at Jackhammer), the back bar at Touche or in the barn at Manhandler Saloon

Ft Lauderdale: Slammer 321, Clubhouse II, or InnLeather

Phoenix: Chute or Flex

Palm Springs: CCBC, All Worlds, Helios, Canyon Club, InnDulge, Barracks

Thanks for all the advice guys. Definitely places I want to check out. Anybody got some info on Philadelphia? I was there 10 years back or so and visited a place that was not quite a bathhouse. It had a porn room and several public areas one of which was very dark and fun. I loaded a very fine piece of ass there and played with several men. Was wondering if that place still exists. The Eagle--upstairs at the Phoenix Bar, New Orleans combines both the essence of a leather bar and very dimly lit dark room all into one setting.  A friendly bartender, often sporting only a jockstrap welcomes you to the dimly lit atmosphere of both bar and backroom.  Attire ranges from casual tourist to leather or merely just wearing a smile.  The bar is equipped with a leather sling as well as room dividers with glory holes.  The Eagle opens at 9pm, Tuesday through Sunday.  Some nights are theme oriented and during special events; i.e., Mardi Gras, Southern Decadence and Halloween the acton gets pretty steamy as the evening progresses.

The Eagle has been my go to place in New Orleans since the closing of the Club Baths.

I love the hole idea of dark rooms. The only one I have been to is at Hawks in Portland OR. To me it's not really dark, just kinda dim, and it's more of a large closet than a room. I envision a real room that's got a few fuck horses and slings, where it's dark enough that you have to be careful. I wish I could find something like that, it would be hard for me to leave once my ass was in the air and available.

Club Indianapolis (bathhouse) has a small dark room, recently renovated and made larger than it used to be.  There are a couple dim lights, mostly to help you avoid running into the walls/railings, but they're near the floor and could probably be blocked out by putting a towel over them or kneeling/standing in front of them.

In Orlando - Hanks Bar & Bar Code. Both have outdoor play areas where about anything goes.
