As do I.  I understand that many guys don't live in an area like Ft. Lauderdale, and the opportunities for in-the-flesh cruising has faded for a lot of guys.  That said, I'm glad I did move to Ft.L., and ditched all the apps shortly after that.  I did hang on to one of them for a while, since I had met guys that became buddies, but that scene is over a thousand miles away now.  Sure, I still keep in touch with some of them, but it's not the same as it was - and that's ok.

I just have found an online website to hook up is easier and produces more matches for me,  as opposed to a phone app. 

I've noticed guys give you little time on a site like Grindr or Scruff, yet sites where I can at least get one message or two through to the prospective hook up has been advantageous for me.

Barebackrt.com, if used at the right time and day, is the most successful site for me.  I find the guys are closer in age, say 35-55, as opposed to say Grindr where they tend to be younger and looking for the same.  Now that has just been my experience.  I also have had luck with adam4adam in my area.  I have a friend who lives in Denver, and he said "Is that site even in existence any longer"?   I find it is based on geography, and economics.  Where I live, rents like in many cities, have skyrocketed.  Many guys don't have the luxury of having their own place or maybe share it with someone who isn't there a good bit of the time.  I do, so guys are more likely to say yes because they have privacy with me.

I know the reputation of Bareback has taken a hit.  The owner is not exactly "customer friendly", and I know of several people who have had their profiles deleted by him. I find it somewhat hypocritical that there is an area for "drug use" and you can answer things like "Hell No", "Ask Me" or "Yes".  Now I don't know the particulars as to why these guys were suddenly banned, but I believe it may have to do with mentioning drug usage in their profile descriptions. Correct me if I am wrong but these sudden bans have come within the past 18 months and I haven't wrapped my head around why he suddenly seems to care if drug usage is mentioned in the profiles on his site.  It's been that way for years.....

Bet you they were banned because they had less than 6 inch. I am not even kidding. I guarantee the owner check dick size before banning them, because why? because that's where we're at, and that's who we are now.

Proof. Just checked NYC on bbrt and out of 500 guys, only 8 said small dick, and 24 said average, meaning that 93,% have a big dick.  More proof, look at the dick size categories in advanced search, and tell me why "big" gets 3 categories

I never thought of it that way.  I do know two of those that were banned and they would be considered bigger than average.  One said he felt his messages were being read, and that the use of drugs was what he felt got him canned.  He isn't a dealer, I think he was more searching for it.  The other mentioned to me that he somehow posted in his profile the @ icon, I believe referencing his Twitter (or X) handle, or maybe it was Instagram.  I don't know if the owner took offense, or if he felt the guy was "soliciting". I really think he did that just so people could find him on other platforms, I have never known him to escort - but I do know he has a larger than normal dick.  What's most surprising to me, is that the owner of that site has done little or nothing to update it, or attract new members.

Even adam4adam added seems to put more money into it's site, and it's practically free even if you sit on it all night and day.  With Bareback, he holds you to 35 messages a day before he makes you pay.  I did write him once about the organized party section - I saw the term "Notice: Someone attending this event does not like you, or you don't like them".   I looked at the list of those attending, and then looked at who I had blocked (just a few really awful individuals).  I didn't recognize those approved for attending the event, so I sent a message to the owner.  He did respond, promptly, telling me if I had put someone on "ignore" or "block", or someone did that to me, then neither of us could see each other.  I felt stupid after asking the question, but he was, at least to me, somewhat nice.  I do recall him mentioning in a message to all new members that he sees every photo posted, so don't bother to unlock your pics for him.  I also noticed he has "HOLY SHIT" listed as his dick size.  Hmmm, I wonder if anyone from BZ can verify that????

I have noticed a odd thing on Doublelist under Men for men section that have a ad listing for a woman. Not sure if miscategory or intentional post under a different heading.

Also can seem on ad or apps have some that wonder if playing games in not meet or a bot or listing to try to sell something or to visit a website or use a app. I do wonder why some ask if have kik or snap or whatever to communicate when app, website, email to reply work just as well. I personally figured not worth getting app where seems to maybe learn ask for money or potential scam.

I had on a app get a reply of someone want to meet but want gas money. First off not contact, next is likely if had money to not travel, or some other scam or spam. I reported for seems maybe a scam of get gas money and not see person. Also I think was maybe 3 hours away.

I think rather see of individuals local where if serious decide to travel, host or meet. The exception is if I was traveling to see who may be in area,  but only do if to plan to stop if traveling, otherwise can seem annoying of traveling say on highway or road and not plan to visit or chat in decide to meet up or not. 

Be nice if bots and scammers, spammers, game players weeded out so know if communicate with a real person and not one that may be pulling a scam or spam.

I'd be interested to know how the older guys on here (say 50+) tend to get the majority of sex/bareback fun. At least in Austin, TX it seems BBRT, A4A, and even Grindr are basically dead because everyone is using Sniffies.
