Covid chasing

i'm  a critical care nurse and i just spent the weekend caring for a Covid-19 patient. She is young, has no other medical issues and is on day 11 today.  We are already in a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the US and it hasn't reached the stage of Italy. The US is ridiculously unprepared. i was sick with Covid like symptoms for 10 days prior to going back to work on Friday, and yet still have not been able to get tested to know what i had/have.  i had to reuse the same mask all day Friday because of the shortage of gowns and masks. Healthcare workers are dying in Italy because of a lack of proper testing and PPE, same thing can happen in the US.  Countries like Singapore, S Korea and Taiwan tested early and everyone could get tested. 

Here's the missing ingredient the chasers don't seem to get, you don't feel like having sex when you're as sick as you get from Covid or AID's.  I had to hold the thermometer for my patient she was so weak.  i for one want all gay guys to live and thrive, i love men and don't want to see our community decimated. Please be safe guys.

Well first of all I HAVE to clarify a detail in my previous post, when I wrote:

it have to be clear that the "you" is absolutely not referred to the author, who has my respect, but to the character of the story.

Now.. my thanks to @drscorpio who lets the topic open, he and some others members know I never been polemic or impolite but covid-19 is a topic that hurts my nerves.

@Spermpig is considering me as an hypocrite, well I'm consider myself as a proud barebacker but I never been a bug chaser or a bug spreader, I know the risks and I've accepted the consequences, what I do with my own health is my own choice and I've ALWAYS cured my bugs in order to don't pose a threat of any kind to others.

Covid-19 doesn't give you any choice, all MST are curable or at least treatable but not the covid-19, you can avoid MST is you dislike them with covid-19 you can't, with a MST you can still have a social life with covid-19 you can't.

Don't forget that most of us has a compromised immune system, and covid-19 doesn't affect only old people.

@19boy93 downvote me without further argumentation and that hurt me. That hurt me because it means I haven't been able to explain my point of view, that hurt me because he things I'm not free to express my opinion... well I'm Italian and I live in Spain so I'm living the tragic drama of both Countries... THIS is my right to speech, THIS is my right to Alert you.

I have never been into bug chasing. I understand some of the psychology behind it but it still doesn't sit well with me. That being said I am glad this difficult topic is being brought up and discussed.

I'm in the same boat as @find91, I understand the psychology, don't share it myself, and struggle with the ethics of it. It must be discussed.

Interesting to read the original story in August of 2021

and a few thoughts - those who in this world of U=U and prep enjoy the general BB stories- but not the pozing stories I can see could still be upset 

but even those who read the pozing stories- with the cocktail getting pozed is no longer a death sentence  - where as getting COVID still is very risky 

is the “offensiveness” of this just a matter of timing?   Not that there was an web back in the mid 80’s - but if there was I wonder if guys would have found BB, much less pozing porn, a turn on

if, hod forbid, COVID is still around 30 years from now but very treatable- will guys be jerking off to this without question?

that said- a very interesting experiment in where lines are drawn

Time ago I wrote this in reply to Spermpig who wrote a story about chasing the Covid.

I know I've be quite rude, I simply commented a fictional story that I found inappropriate in those days, but it's clear that I never wished to ANYONE to die instead I put in evidence that covid can kill someone in few weeks...
