Yes the same long time members remain, and if you live in a rural area you will see the same cast of characters. My reason for staying active on BBRT is that I can occasionally catch a tourist who is visiting from out of town. As far as NKP is concerned, you'll find it has more of a "fetish" oriented membership, and that is not always a bad thing. The geo locator can be a bit "wonky":, that is a common complaint. If you live in the NYC area it is quite active, at least that has been my experience. I would say the majority of guys are poz or poz friendly, and most either use, or don't mind if you use, "enhancements". I have found Grindr to be expensive, overrated, and in many cases, full of judgmental individuals based on either your HIV status or lifestyles choices. What I find amusing is that some of those same guys still show up either on NKP or other free sites and their profiles are much more open minded. Go figure. If you are interested in guys of a different race, "Jack'd" is popular here. But read the profiles carefully, as some people spell out exactly what kind of guys they are looking for, and often it's done in a "not so friendly" manner. What I like about the free version is that you can find guys near-by, and the geo locator works well. Quote

Not too many guys still log into anymore here in Portland, and +95% are just blue ballers. The worst I've seen for it in my recent travels is in Hawaii guys online for the entire state is very rarely in double digits. Quote

Recon has its “cruise” feature….. and even sites that don’t have a similar feature…. I think I am not alone in just getting a one word message like “hey” or if you are “lucky” you may get a “hot” I supposed these are all just trying to replace the visual cues we used to be able to send when we were in the back room of the the local bar and able to cruise in person. So maybe the oinks need to be replaced with emojis of … a glance with raised eyebrow? Maybe of grabbing our crotch?… or brushing our hand across the other guys ass or crotch as we passed him on our way up to the bar …. Or the men’s room ….? Or … at least if they would send something more specific they made it easier to respond to … At least …”I like your photos (or profile) … are you looking?” Quote
