i've had similar exxperiences. After lots of thought and introspection i've come to understand where some of my ambivalent feelings come from: cultural conditioning against our nature/need/desire/reality.

I get what the original poster is saying, though.  I've had both "known" and "surprise" breedings before as well, and admittedly when I was new to barebacking, I felt quite differently about this.
