I haven't had any trouble logging in, but the site is stale, it needs some kind of updating. Yes the same long time members remain, and if you live in a rural area you will see the same cast of characters. My reason for staying active on BBRT is that I can occasionally catch a tourist who is visiting from out of town. As far as NKP is concerned, you'll find it has more of a "fetish" oriented membership, and that is not always a bad thing. The geo locator can be a bit "wonky":, that is a common complaint. That's unfortunate but understandable. Maybe if the original author is still around it can be explained to them what the limits are and a new version of the story could be crafted that fits within the allowed parameters? I know that sometimes moderators have worked with authors like that in the past and that's a great thing when it happens. Of course authors have to be willing to be reasonable. There are good reasons why certain things have to be banned even if a lot of us don't always like it.
