I gained 11 pounds in those 5 weeks even though I was felt nauseous for about 5 hours after taking the pill. Because of the side effects, my doctor switched me to Descovy. I gained 4 pounds in the 2 weeks I was on Descovy. I stopped taking PrEP and within a month the weight all came off.
