    My family sure as heck don't know.     I seem to remember that it was well-sealed leather of some type (the Fort Troff one that was still being made around 8 years ago). In any case (being a good little bottom), I used to unhook it and wash it after every play session that involved fun of a variety that belongs in a different forum (and every session seemed to end that way!). It was a while ago (2016), so the material can't be verified for certain.

    I've never had a problem when my top used to use canola oil. Is it because of the different levels of fat? Might also be because I was usually in a sling! It's appropriate that - given what some of us are into - canola is also known as ... rapeseed 🤪 The lube that I can no longer find which I used for solo play came in a silver tin with an orange label. Menthol-based, called "ice hot" or something like that.

    Blackpool has been on the decline for a long time. I stayed there in March 2011 (Kings Hotel - now Kings Boutique Hotel). The guy who owned it used to be Stanley Matthews' milkman (and to the wider world, that is NOT a euphemism). Apparently, though, the hotel has now changed hands and is a lot better.
