    16 in Canada too (with close in age exemptions down to 14, similar to Germany), but I think it's too high. It was 14 across the board here until 2008.

    In the US it seems inevitable that a subject like this is gonna draw accusations of racism. But our attractions or preferences really are a completely different issue (most of the time). Example: I live in a nearly 100% Chinese neighbourhood. Although I love my neighbours and have many Asian friends, sexually they do nothing for me. I prefer blacks, latins or arabs. So sue me!

    Thought this interesting old thread deserved to be revived. It's pretty much 50:50 in my family. In the current generation, there's me--who wouldn't know how to begin to add up how many partners I've had--and my brother the stiff, who's married and completely monogamous. My mother's had sex with exactly one man, but that guy (my father) has been very promiscuous. When I was a kid I caught him with so many different girlfriends, and not wanting my folks to divorce, I can remember lecturing him about being more discrete. Further afield the ratio seems to hold, with my mother's family being mostly prudes and father's family being mostly sluts.

    No indignation here. I have no issues whatsoever with bug chasing ... but I do dislike bad analogies. My purpose here is pretty obvious if you've ever read any of my posts--I like to fuck bareback, including with men. And again, I wasn't being judgmental. I've been registered on this site since '11 and lurking far longer than that. Over those years, this is the first time I've ever commented on this subject.

    I honestly mean no offense, but as someone who has been trying (unsuccessfully) to impregnate my wife for some time, I really, really don't get this analogy. In the one case you're attempting to create a new life ... in the other, you're giving someone a potentially fatal disease. In that light, equating the two seems absurd.

    Those are reasons to fuck bare, not to intentionally get pozzed. Odds are that if you fuck bare enough, you'll eventually contract HIV, but logically nothing requires you to hasten that process. In fact, the longer it takes, the less effect it's likely to have on your quality of life and life expectancy. There's got to be more to it than that.

    When I was in my late teens I used to have a long walk home from the bar district in my hometown (lost my license from a DUI). Often dudes would pull over and offer me a lift--which frequently led to me getting a blow job somewhere along the way.     It helps :-) Like bearbandit said, on occasion I've wandered into areas that really aren't my thing ... and ended up learning something valuable. The loss of that opportunity for those with restricted access would be a shame, but I guess it's their call if they don't think they can handle certain subjects. As with so many other things in life, it still gets in my craw when people want to censor others (or hide things, so they can pretend they don't exist) instead of just learning to ignore stuff that doesn't appeal to them--or threatens their worldview.

    I tried to add this as an edit to the previous post, but was too late: I'm sure you've heard of the recent Supreme Court decisions in Canada, the upshot of which is that "failure to disclose" cases will only be prosecuted if the HIV+ individual posed a "significant risk of transmission" to their partner. Insignificant risk is currently defined as (a) a condom was used, and ( the individual was undetectable. Advocacy groups here are fighting hard to have that broken down, such that if either a condom was used or the individual is undetectable, disclosure will not be required.

    RawTOP, with all due respect (and it's obvious you've spent a great deal of time considering this) i think the American standard of morality that you described a few posts up the line is becoming a relic of the past. If Americans truly felt that way in the 21st century, we wouldn't be having cases like this appear so frequently in the courts. As with the recent acceptance of Obamacare, the US is finally joining the rest of the developed world in shifting away from its previous frontier-driven, self-reliance mentality.

    I'm with einathens and the others who would prefer the site remain as it is. I signed up a long time ago too and altho there were/are vast areas of BreedingZone that hold no interest for me, I'm not such a delicate flower that I need to have those things hidden from my view. I understand (from a commercial perspective) your desire to reach the largest possible audience, I'm just not sure you can achieve that objective with a single site.

    Straycowboy's story brought back a memory. While I was in college and for the first few years of marriage I was only with girls. But when the honeymoon was over, the first dude I fucked was a young, cocky, extremely masculine guy.
