Many years ago I became very ill (ER visit) after eating a bag of peanuts. Peanut 🥜 allergy??? I have been a peanut pig ever since. It is very difficult to make categorically cause & effect diagnosis just because something happened at the same time as some other occurrence. The exponential rise in the death toll with out the vaccine or the worldwide uptake of Trumpist witches brews is unthinkable & no amount of anti-vaxxer SHIT STIRRING will provide an alternate outcome than the POSITIVE of vaccines. IF RFKjnr STOPS Polio vaccination programmes, the ONCE MIGHTY USA will need to start manufacturing IRON LUNGS urgently.

As in the US, Australia also has State & Federal governments although I am not sure where ultimate decision making powers lay & under what circumstances. Fortunately, we do not have a Constitution that seems to inhibit both levels of government action & gives ultimate powers to the people in many areas. Because Australian politicians have the ultimate powers to legislate, the voices of the masses are very rarely sought & adhered to, unless a referendum is called. Even then political power overrides the citizen voices, eg: Referendum in Oct '23. Failed, by a resounding NO vote of 69%. Despite the heavy loss both Federal & State governments continue to pursue & implement the same policies that were rejected, particularly at the State level. Very few Australian 🇦🇺 politicians have vested interests in the national citizenry but they do have significant personal interests involved once they abandon the people who have put them into office. PEOPLE POWER would be nice 💪💪💪 sometimes. -
My heart is with you & I hope that protest & pressure via State authorities & interested parties will be successful. I am also glad that you are able to find confidence in the States authorities willingness to fight for its residents. Unfortunately, in Australia, we do not have the same confidence in either Fed or State authorities to have the best interests of their electorates above their own personal (Trumpist) ambitions.

There will, out of necessity, be a resurgence of bars (leather, Biker, rubber etc) & Clubs (Club 80, Melbourne 🇦🇺) where guys can cruise, get a room, relax in lounges with coffee & get their style of fuck etc.

US NORMALS would love to have you. Unfortunately, the next few years, I think, may well be a very sad case of who is in government. This country has a high proportion of SWING VOTERS & now that we have ever increasing Independent members of Parliament, the "Woke" Left & the Ulttra Conservatives will tear the country apart. Many politicians get elected via one of our two major parties, they resign from that party & then they remain , in Parliament, as an Independent politician. We also have to many minority groups that hold tremendous power over the Labor (Left), Trans, Environment, Renewables, Absolute Child Care, Illegals & Liberal/Nationals (Right), zionism, Mining, Banking/Finance & wealthy Business. This country is very rapidly losing any Centrist values & the Homeless, old age & disabled Pensioners & our Veterans are paying the price with poor financial assistance & the extremely low availability of proper housing. I am considering that my future will be with my family in Sweden, as Australia is becoming financially unviable as far as cost of living goes. The AUD goes nowhere towards any reasonable living standards, unless you are more than wealthy.

The big problem will be those on the political left (myself), who have become so very tired of the ructions (myself) to social cohesion caused by those extreme radical elements - so far Left they are in another galaxy, that have & will become more comfortable with their own (slight) move to the Right. I have found my self shifting to a more nuanced & balanced centre Left to centre Right political position, than simply being Left wing. Illegal immigration is an issue requiring strong governance & yet I would never agree with those "illegals" already settled, working, paying taxes & raising families just being deported en masse. Land rites is another issue needing attention BUT, the violence & destruction of historical monuments is NOT OK. Mass demonstrations, violence & burning 🔥 of National flags 🇦🇺 on a countries slated National Day is again, NOT OK. I have, over the years (onset of "OLD" age) come to believe that any form of violence, when demanding change, is EXTREMELY COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE, especially when statistics show that you are fighting the 69% who do not desire change eg: Australia 🇦🇺 Day. Protestors & violence not only enshrine the opinions of these 69% but also draw greater numbers to adopt this attitude against change. The Voice Referendum of 2023 failed with 69% against & this result has only served to increase the numbers who want Australia 🇦🇺 Day to remain on 26 January amongst other divisive issues which will arise. No doubt with our Conservative Party winning the next election (March / April) more divisive issues will boil over. Unfortunately, Australia will be left to deal with a Trump, Mini-Me (Peter Dutton) & our wealthy business elite, if they do win government. It is this group that the Democrats will need to win back & it will only happen with alot of soul searching & the Dems moving back to a more REALISTIC centrist Left position.

Glad you didn't put Australia 🇦🇺 into that mix. We are about to (fairly certain) get a new Right wing government in upcoming Federal elections (March) & as our wealthy🧐 elites, Gina Rhinehardt et al, are all in Trumps pockets, things are not looking good. Mind you, our Left wing (current) State & Federal governments have ALL made an absolute mess & it has simply encouraged right wing LOONIES to surface.

Prince Charles and the other members are still required to pay tax at the highest rate on all their personal income. This includes Road Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Council Tax on their properties to name a few.

Without the Monarchy, the UK would lose more in royal taxes than they pay out in the civil list. With the world in its current mess, Monarchies offer stability to otherwise very shaky political systems. Although I am not enamoured with Chuck & his "bit on the side".

In this age there doesn't need to be credible & / or substantial evidence available for the sharing or misuse of personal / private information for any government to restrict or ban operations. Australia 🇦🇺, UK 🇬🇧, USA 🇺🇸, Ukraine 🇺🇦 have all, over the last 10yrs, "claimed" possession of credible evidence of techno based criminal activities by both, China & Russia. These attacks have been centred on political figures, elections, businesses that all have tremendous implications for political, defence, business, financial & social stability. Governments DO NOT require absolute proof to restrict (Australian politicians are barred from Tik Tok on government issued devices) or ban / block technological industries connected to foreign governments, dubious or not.
