Mine lasted about 4 days. Lucky I was on vaca from work so no one really noticed. I was up at my parents house and started to feel weak and run down . A super bad flu was going around that year and everyone assumed it was that. This was also in Oct. I went home and woke up in the middle of the night beyond drenched in sweat and shaking . I was too weak to walk so I crawled to the shower and then to the fridge for some water and OJ. I knew damn well what was going on. So I stayed home and in bed for those 4 days and the next week I had a massive headache. That was in 2010 -

If your having issues with paying for medication talk to your state aids resource. Specially ask for ADAP it stands for AIDS Drug Assistance Program . They can answer your questions and help with copay issues for your HIV drugs. -
Should I bareback my friend's 19 year old son?

Why is everyone assuming that the parents would be upset over him having sex with their son? Seriously. The parents know the friend is gay. The parents probably know the son is gay. They don’t mind the son traveling alone to visit him. He is 19 after all. So they probably assume they might get it on. Just my thoughts -
Talk to him about the possibility of you infecting him. While your undetectable you might not always be. Ask him his feelings about if you unknowingly had a spike in your VL and he was infected how would he feel about that. Then you have your answer.

First reaction is you must not care deep down because your on here! And sounds like you both like to BareBack. So I feel like your looking for someone to reassure you of what you already feel and are thinking. So if you want him to breed you than do it. If not then don’t.

I’ve been on Atripla for 8 years. I personally have noticed some changes in myself with joint pain as well as bone issue. A simple break that took longer to heal only to be rebroken. While I’ve had good results on Atripla. The underlying side effects are just too large for me to ignore. I’ve had friends that were on Atripla had similar issues, switched and are glad they did. I do believe that each drug and prescription work and act differently for different individuals. So I made a appointment with my Dr, we sat down and analyzed each component and the amount and he looked at results of other patients. He felt it would be a safe transition to Genvoya. But it will be monitored with lab work to ensure no issues arise. As far as the class action suit he said he had heard of new studies challenging the old drugs effectiveness and volatility. But he was quick to say he cannot say for sure because he is not a memeber of the study. So fingers crossed that switching is a smooth transition. -

Now they are saying it leads to bone density problems where you fracture easily. I did read of a study where researchers found the levels of the combined drugs where not needed to be as effective to maintain undetectable viral levels. They also found the drugs were more caustic to liver & kidney tissues as well as bones than previously disclosed. This was reported in POZ magazine in 2016. But the study was closed due to funding issues. Personally I’m concerned enough to have a appointment with my Dr. -

So the today I was watching TV and a commercial about a class action suit against the makers of Atripla & Truvada and others is being filed. Because they find serious long term side effects and they claim the manufacture knew and withheld replacements. So my question is; anyone else hear of this? Also anyone participate in the suit? And does this concern anyone else?? -
