  1. After being on PrEP since March , I just got my Quarterly HIV results back - and they are NEG! I did not keep a spreadsheet of all my exploits (and it wasn't in the triple digits), but there were certainly anonymous and most assuredly POZ loads (claiming to be undetectable) which makes me even more encouraged (or is that emboldened?). Yes, there were some condoms in the mix too for good measure. If you are a sexually active gay man, I hope there is an opportunity for you to talk to your Doctor about PrEP and the possibility of getting on the treatment.
  2. My partner and I are both Neg and on PrEP as well. We play together and seperately. He was one of the original PrEP study participants in the blind study in San Fran. As a couple, he commuted weekly to San Fran during the week and came back to LA on weekends during the study. Needless to say, we had an open relationship during that time and he later found out that he was on the active the entire time. He was safe though during the period, using PrEP as extra protection. He has been on it ever since and for the most part still practices safe sex, even as a top. I got on it as part of a study in LA earlier this year and while a safe bottom with others, after being on PrEP, I did start taking loads with his knowledge. We have shared information (some even found on here) and he is fine with me taking undetectable loads and even helped me create my BBRT profile. He encouraged me to go to my first Cumunion party as well. That said, he is not a big BB guy. Poz friendly yes and will certainly have sex with a Poz guy, but old habits still die hard. I got him to create a BBRT profile, but he doesn't really check it out. He goes to Scruff or Recon. Regardless, we are supportive of each other and are glad to be on PrEP.
  3. I love ripe pit smell as well. Mine just don't give off that much of an odor even though I haven't worn deoderant for years. Is there anything I can do to get them more ripe?
  4. I had maybe three days of loose bowel movements and then everything was fine. I did start taking metamucil regularly, but that was for dietary reasons and it really helped. I have had a little facial flushing though occasionally, but that is the only other side effect I have had.
  5. BTW Flex has re-opened. Can anyone tell me what ar the best times of the day to visit the various baths; Midtown, Melrose or Flex? Melrose is the most convenient, but I can't seem to find the right time. Midtown, I have been on Sunday around 4pm and while crowded, can still be a hit or miss proposition. Like the bars, there has got to be a schedule. Anyone know? Thanks.
  6. I would agree. I thought it was OK. 375 people RSVP'd. Maybe 70 were there. Parking wasn't great. Show up close to when it starts, otherwise, you will park far away.
  7. I am well aware that there are other STD's. I thought I had caught one a bathhouse and paid to have the tests done quickly. They came back negative. So you need to come to terms with it. Go and play and do what you feel comfortable with. You will be surprised how piggy you can quickly get.
  8. Started PrEP in March and took my first undetectable load in May. I too have been 100% compliant with the labs to prove it. I gave gone to both Midtown Spa and last weeks CumUnion and have taken a load or two at both (and given). I felt comfortable after getting my first set of labs back after getting my first known poz load. I still am a little cautious though and don't plat with PNP'ers.
  9. I am planning on attending this time and have never been before. Aside from arriving early for parking, what else should you know? What do people wear (or not), Is it all one big orgy, etc? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
  10. Try Pacific Oaks Medical. They are Gay Internists specializing in HIV.
  11. On PrEP for 3 months. Like bbblbbottom, I am still wrapping my mind around things and have only gone bare a handfull of times. I was a little freaked the first time I took a known poz undetectable load given years of condom use, but also rationalized it as "well that is exactly why I am taking PrEP" so that I could be more open to other sex partners. That said, I am still somewhat discerning. I do have a question for other longterm PrEP users though. Has anyone ever caught a STD while on Truvada? If you knew the HIV status of the person who gave you the STD and they were poz/undetectable I am wondering what/how the risk factor is at that point. Just curious.
  12. I am taking my first dose of Truvada tonight! I am a new participant in a on-going PReP study in LA. While I have BB'd in the past (hence the member name), that was somewhat in the past and I have been in a relationship for a while. Recently, we have opened the relationship. Together we have always played raw, but been safe with others (well, for the most part). I am not looking to dramtically change things, but it just seemed to make sense. Truthfullly, it was an akward conversation with someone (my Partner) to say I am taking this and you can trust me, but just in case, I may have BB sex and that you should feel better that I am being responsible by taking PReP. I, like he, would rather know than not know if I/he had played BB. I feel better about it, but.....damn, a little guilty too. Maybe after the first shits, I won't feel so guilty.......Onward!
  13. My Daddy has used this on me from time to time. The longest I have been locked was up to a weeks time and I was incredibly horny. It was a great submissive headtrip and as others have stated, it made me focus on his needs and not mine. I didn't matter at that point whether he was fucking me or picking up someone at the bathhouse, I just wanted him to have sex and enjoying himself even if it was at my expense. Hard to explain. He has locked me up before and has hooked up with several guys over the weekend. I was horny when he left and when he came back home spent. If you have submissive tendencies, give this a chance. If you are an adventerous Top who likes dominating and playing with other guys you should try this as well.
  14. Has anyone on here ever been infected orally through a high Poz VL? Especially interested in serodiscordant couples, what your Doctor says about the neg partner swallowing his poz partners cum. Don't do it, manage your risks, etc.
  15. bigdick, I have no problem hearing about his exploits. I probably ask too many questions though. I don't even mind him having sex with another in our bed and kind of think it's hot smelling another man when I go to bed with him (I am a freak what can I tell you). However, I draw the line on dates. If he wants sex - fine. There is no Starbuck's get togethers, drinks at the local bar getting to know each other better or anything like that. I have a hard line on that one. He has one fuck buddy that's in another city and that guy is not a concern.
  16. My partner and I are also in an open relationship. This is relatively new after being together for 17 years (maybe the last two or three). The relationship is really more open on his side than mine. He travels a great deal and I felt that sooner or later there would be an opportunity to cheat on me. My thought was I would rather know than not, so I encouraged it. Truth be told, I get off on it in a wierd way. He has been with, ahem, a large number of men. To my knowledge, he is safe, but we both accept that there could be other STD's and know that. He has also been a participant in the Truvada PreP study our of San Fran for the last two years as well - so by having lots of sex, he is ctonributing back to science (LOL). For the study he gets tested Quarterly and they ask about me and his other sex partners. When we are together, we have unsafe sex and he cums in me - and I like it. Like I said, I kind of get off knowing that he has been with a number of guys (freaky I know). That said, I do know that I am the last person he wants to see in the evening and the first to wake up with and I feel that same way. It's not perfect, but it works for us - for now.
  17. RawTop, thanks for asking. We are both neg. We both understand the risks that comes from having sex with others. I believe/am told that he uses condoms, but obviously can't guarantee that. We talk about his encounters though and it is a turn on for both of us.
  18. This is a real turn on for me too. My partner of 15 years and I just opened the relationship. He loves to put me to bed and go to the local sex clubs and fuck around. I like waking up with him smelling of ruanchy man sex. He is an exhibitionist who likes group action. He leaves with condoms but I don't know if he uss them or not. I once found dried cum on his chest and was majorly turned on. He has given me Chlamydia once from fucking around.
