Liam left TIM about 2+ years ago... they still role out some of his unreleased scenes every once in a while, but he's not actively directing for them. I sent him a message when I found out, and at least suggested he start his own studio or continue to shoot porn in some capacity, but he's really talented artist as well - he's taken up full-time painting the last few years..

I can tell you the bottom is Jorge Ballantinos, but he's done a few scenes with white "daddy" tops and it would be hard to find the exact one. Basically he's hot in anything he does..

I've paid for most - if not all - the porn I've collected. Especially Treasure Island Media.. each of their videos is about 70 AUD a pop, so I've spent well into the thousands of $$ by now. I've found that if it's something you really like - it ends up being worth it. I prefer HD quality over a crappy SD tube copy as well, where it might only be a 20min cut instead of the whole video (and you're never guaranteed to find absolutely everything you want for free). I subscribe to "stream only" sites as well.. usually only for the first month so that I can mass download as many of the videos I can. It's a bit sneaky because obviously the studios want to be "stream only", but it's only for my personal collection and at least they're getting the $$ out of me. I'll go back about 3 or 4 times a year as yell, just to catch all the new updates. Porn's a bit of an investment for me, and it's good to know in whatever situation with whatever guy/s, I have something hot to play everyone will like. I want it all downloaded locally as well - the last thing you need when you're about to blow is the video to freeze due to a crappy internet connection. AND you're also at someone else's mercy if it's hosted online - they could pull the video tomorrow and you'd be screwed (in a bad way). I think I'm up to well over 500GB by now just in porn (though I've met guys with even bigger collections).

TIM has been going downhill for a while IMO.. they've been re-releasing a bunch of old porn - which for someone who owns just about their entire catalogue, really does nothing for me. A couple of scenes in this release were also shot many years ago, but haven't been released until now (it’s obvious by the dated camerawork). They used to pump stuff out quite regularly, but lately it’s been every 2 or 3 months. Liam Cole is no longer making porn for them (which he told me directly, and is contrary to Max Sohl replying to one of my comments ON THE VERY SAME DAY that Liam had a new movie coming "soon"). Their biggest problem is that they think their customers are idiots. Good luck if you post a critical comment on their website or one of their social pages, because it's deleted just as quickly. It's 2016 guys - we have the internet, we can Google shit if necessary, so stop pretending everything's going great when it clearly isn't. I can identify with SOME of what Paul wrote, but the majority of it is plain scary. I loved Liam's movies because they were shot in real apartments/alleys/clubs/wherever, and were a reflection of what real guys are actually doing in their lives. I learnt about myself watching TIM porn, and realised that I liked to bareback and that there was space within the world for me to enjoy it. Talking about "sex magick" and our "demonic evil" however - Paul either thinks he's the second coming of Aleister Crowley, or he's only in touch with a very niche group of gay men (which either way will hurt his business). I’ve begged Liam to keep making porn, because it really was the best on the market (and the best for TIM’s sales). Paul needs to get his head out of his ass, or he’ll wind up like Damien Silver in a few years, making very niche porn that almost no one buys.

I'll preface this by saying that I love TIM, and bar a few exceptions, I've bought almost all of their releases. Their porn is by far the hottest and most realistic, but I have major issues with them from a business sense. -- $50 DTO is murder! A surcharge for DVD & shipping I can understand, but Dark Alley download releases are the 2nd most expensive in the industry, and even then are almost half the price. -- "pre-release" scenes are a joke. Pay $15 for a scene that you'll end up paying another $50 for to get the whole release a week later? So now it's $65 per release? -- The updates are inconsistent. There's been no "full" release since the beginning of December, which is odd, given how much they boast about filming scenes that never see daylight. -- I don't understand the segregation between TIMFuck, TIMJack & TIMSuck memberships. And THEN you've got separate JO and Oral 'only' releases. Why don't they just combine all the sex into single 'event-type' releases, which they could then release twice a month or at least on a more consistent schedule. Rather than dilute their products into all these different options...... TIM makes the best porn - especially when you look at Liam Cole's work. Outlaws, Overload, Slammed - they're all my favourites, and they're all Liam Cole. I don't know how serious I am about the idea, but I often think about starting my own company sometime in the future.. it wouldn't rip anything off from TIM, but it would definitely follow in their style and pick up the mistakes they're making...

I don't want to say I'm a poppers expert, but I've had A LOT of experience with a lot of different brands.. I've used them in gas masks for hours on end, and then I've had periods where I haven't touched them for a couple months to give myself a break. I'm curious why you "need" them though. Granted it's a better experience (I sometimes take a bottle when I go to a bar/club, not even for sex, just to get that euphoric head rush). If you "need" them to bottom, it suggests maybe you don't have a lot of bottoming experience or haven't properly learned to enjoy it. Guys will often wank themselves off while they're getting fucked for the same reason - it distracts them and overall intensifies the pleasurable feeling. But sex is still fun without them I'm thinking it's maybe an issue with the brand (or wherever you've sourced them from). A red nose could just be a skin sensitivity, but if you're coughing for a few days after, you're probably having to inhale REALLY deeply to get the effect you're after. Perhaps not strong enough, or you're just too accustomed to them? My advice is to change up to something else. You're in Australia right? I'm in Sydney, so I can probably recommend some good places to try. I personally use the Black Label Jungle Juice bottles, and then I kind of experiment with other brands on the side. I wouldn't try soaking a rag etc though.. if you're having trouble taking hits from the bottle, I think more prolonged exposure is probably a bad idea. Again, change up the brand/where you buy them from, and see if it helps. The smell depends on the brand (some are of course better than others), but I mean, they're chemicals after all. Try to make sure you're doing them in a somewhat ventilated space... maybe keep a fan on or something to redistribute the air. Also HEAVY popper use (and I mean HEAVY!!! use) tends to weaken the immune system. I remember reading research on it a couple years ago, and just personally, I feel completely crap for a couple days after. You don't need to stop using them.. just invest a bit of time and money in finding what works for you.

It's not the first time it's happened on a porn set - I think that goes without saying. You could factor in all the cases that aren't even recognised (either the neg guy isn't getting tested by the studio or in his private life between shoots, or he's just having that much sex he doesn't know what came from where). But Paul Morris has alluded in the past to the fact that guys have switched status' in front of the TIM cameras. I suspect it would've been willingly though.. I think the formerly neg guy is the one making this into a massive shit storm. I mean, how else could it have blown up as quickly, especially if it's something the studio want to keep a secret. It actually made national headlines here in Australia ('cause, you know, all we care about is sex and kangaroos).. No one is forced into porn, at least the publicly released kind. You make a choice in exposing yourself to the potential risk - studios and fellow "actors" test regularly and disclose their history, so they do what they can. But if you're not comfortable with the risk, or the potential therof - go work for Randy Blue. It's the same raw vs. condom argument everyone's involved in, it's just transported to a more professional setting. It sucks this happened, but the guy's life isn't over. He'll still get work, even in porn if he so chooses to continue. I like the point above though.. if PrEP were widely available and used, then this would likely have never happened in the first place..

This is an old topic, but you've probably got notifications enabled anyways rawTOP... I was a bit sceptical when you first started the .tv site, because it looked as if you were trying to take a humble blog in a more commercial direction. I have to say that I've bought quite a lot since then, and the $14.95 is the deal-maker for me. Why buy from the studios direct when you can still get it legally for almost half the price?.. I do notice that there's sometimes a tradeoff in quality though - Dark Alley for example are almost if not always in SD, whereas I get a 1080p file if I buy through them direct. It could just be an issue with older titles.. I've never really bothered to check... I tend to buy whole releases.. TIM offer per scene downloads after 6 months, but if you end up buying all the scenes anyway (staggered over time), it's prohibitively more expensive. I also find scenes I dismiss at first glance to have some of the hotter/raunchier action once I've given them a chance. I buy music the same way (albums over singles).. maybe it's just my preference though. With all that said, I think you're at the forefront of the future. Studios will have to give in at some point, and I don't think $15 for a 90 mins release is too unreasonable. They could even jack the price to $20 or $25 for the first few months after release, and I'd still buy it. But with companies like TIM trying to swindle $50 or thereabouts (DVDs are also sometimes cheaper than downloads!).. they're going to lose. Plain and simple, they don't understand their consumers and a new technological future. They'll get desperate, and they'll either adapt or they'll burn.

There's a scene I remember watching in Queer as Folk.. some guy got hooked into drugs, and wound up with a group of guys watching a video of himself getting fucked the night before. He had no memory of it, and he was pretty out of it from the looks of the "video".. I've wanted to replicate that scene ever since I saw it. Poppers aren't strong enough for me, so I'd need to take a walk on the harder side of town.. but my advice to anyone is to fuck sober before you think about getting crazy. One other thing .. the individual posts seem to be scrollable within their own little box, kinda like there's more content below the post? I don't know if it was intended or not, but if you're scrolling the whole page real slowly, every post has it's own "mini scroll" which kinda detracts from the seamlessness. It would be better if each post was "fixed", like the old site, but it could either be intended, or just a drawback from the new platform you're on?

Everyone comes to this site for different reasons, so you'll get hundreds of different answers on what they like/dislike. The best you can do is strike some kind of balance, and I think you've done that. Aside from speed/bug issues that can be improved with time, it's not TOO different from the previous site (but design wise it's definitely looking more slick). The individual post "blocks" are a bit full on - there's so much grey empty space that you could probably size them down a bit, still keep the content as it is, but fit more posts per page.

I'm in Perth until October, so I won't be there They haven't been on for a while, but they're usually the 2nd Saturday each month. If you're on BBRT they've got the party listed, so you should check it out. Don't know much about the new venue, other than it being on Campbell St in Surry Hills (there's not many obvious places, so I'm thinking maybe a warehouse type?)

I'm wondering if lawyers have anything to do with this... a percentage of bareback stars are HIV positive - it's not speculation, we all know it. It just is what it is. I'm pretty sure knowingly exposing someone to HIV is illegal (it would have to be, at least in some parts of the world). So maybe the positive actors are refusing to do it, on the grounds they MIGHT be prosecuted somewhere down the line - with hard video evidence to prove it. There's an interview with Paul Morris floating around, where he was asked point blank whether a guy had been infected on a TIM set. He had a "neither confirm nor deny" attitude about it, so it sounds pretty likely.
